EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT19*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT19* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. Today by the grace of God we will be looking at the last motivation behind Judas and Silas staying back to do the work that they did and after this we will be looking at what they did. Can somebody should ALLELUIA!!! As usual i stopped at the house of bro John to ask of his opinion concerning what motivated Judas and Silas to stay behind to do more work and he said that it was LOVE. Ordinarily one would have been tempted to think that they stayed back to proof that they were more caring than Paul and Barnabas that left but one has come to understand that it was not about who was better than the other but what needed to be done. Amen!!! *If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And ...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT18*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT18* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. For the past two days now we have been looking at what led Judas and Silas to do what they did and we have been able by the grace of God to see 1. Confidence. 2. Zeal and passion and today we will be looking at faith. I know that you are shocked to hear me say faith, right? Yes I said faith, I consulted bro James and he told me that faith was part of it. Now let us hear it from him directly.(I won't say from the horse's mouth because he is not a horse 😄😄😄) *But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:20.* There is no way they would have claimed that they have faith without corresponding work. Faith and work goes together. Infact work is the proof or the substance of faith. Hence bro James went ahead to say. *Do you see that faith was working together with his works,...

MORE THAN EXPECTED*.

*LET US PRAY*. *MORE THAN EXPECTED*. *Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk*."   *Acts 3:6*. I pray with you and for you dear child of God that in this season you will get the kind of blessings that you never imagined can come your way. I pray that you will get more that expected by the power in the name of Jesus. Where people have left you with the intention to meeting you there anytime they return, may the God of heaven that does wonders without number make you a surprise to them such that whenever they come they will see you higher and better than they expected in the name of Jesus. In these season i pray that silver and gold will not be able to quantify the kind of blessings that God will bring into your life in the name of Jesus. In this season every desire of your enemies will be disappointed and any plan against your lifting is frustrating and will nevee see the light if...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT12*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT12* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. We have been looking at patience as a virtue as against what seem to be a popular opinion now that patience should be jettisoned. many of us this day believe that there is no need to be patient with God. As we now believe that the patient dog nolonger eat the fattest bone but no bone at all. Many of us sing that common song "Abraham blessings are mine" so let us see how Abraham got that blessing that we all wants to or share from. *Saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Heb 6:14-15*. The bible told us that after he waited patiently. He did not just wait but he waited patiently and added that he did not for once stagger at the promise. Which means that he had opportunities to loose hope.and...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT8*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT8* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. We were privileged by grace to see what the writer of the letter to the Hebrews had to say concerning the reason why the offices of Judas and Silas were mentioned.  *That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.* *Heb 6:12*. We have seen that this call to imitate those who through faith and patients obtained the promise requires urgency and today we will be looking at the word "faith and patience". Faith is the connection between divinity and humanity. Faith is the currency to buy anything from heaven. Faith is what makes us to know that God exist and that He will reward all that seek him. Faith is what it takes to please God. Faith is absolute dependence and trust in God. It takes faith in God the he will reward to work for him and it takes patie...

DIVINE DIRECTION*

*LET US PRAY.* *DIVINE DIRECTION* *So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them*. *Acts 3:5*. He gave them his attention. As you give God your attention today may heaven give you immediate answer. Whatever be the reason for your giving heaven attention may it be granted you now in the name of Jesus. As you give heaven your attention may heaven bless you with help from above and cause men below to favour you. May He that is sitted in heaven favour you this week and beyond in Jesus name. May your attention never go unnoticed, May God pick interest in your attention. May angels be assigned to meet your needs. And may you receive special care from God in the name of Jesus. As you give heaven your attention today may heaven direct you to places of honour, glory, favour, mercy and May heaven give you direction that will take you to the next level in the name of Jesus. In this week your food is blessed your water is blessed, sickness is far from your household and...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT9*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT9* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. You will agree with me going by the way the spirit of the Lord has been leading us that the reasons why the offices of Judas and Silas was mentioned are too numerous to mention as such time and space will fail us to mention,-. Those that will scatter because they are not in charge, those that claim that they hold the history of the church and as such the church most as a matter of necessity revolve round them or they will do their worst. Those that will petition the authorities because they can always have their way and those that will wish that their will be done as against the will of God and majority of the people. What of those with entitlement mentality. I mean those that will tell you what and what they are entitled to. Even those seeking positions in the church will not be left out in the list. I mean those...

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT8* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*. *Acts 15:32*. Yesterday we started looking at why the work of Judas and Silas was mentioned in the passage and we were able to see as far we were led by the spirit of the living God and I did say that we will continue from where we stopped and today we will take a look at few more reasons why it was mentioned. Enjoy!!! Their work was mentioned to show also that the title was not an umbrella or a cover to do evil under religion like many of us do today to commit all kinds of crime and do all forms of evils. It was not to manipulate everybody the way they want, use widows and spinster for their sexual gratification especially the unsuspecting innocent ones. It is not a position for sharing or seeking to share the offerings and tithe with the man of God or causing confusion because you are part of the foundation members of

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT7*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT7* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. Having seen why the offices of Judas and Silas were mentioned in the passage and having been told by bro Paul that it was Christ that made it so for the work of ministry and for the edification of the church. Today we are going to look at why the work they did was also mentioned. Alleluia!!! First of all we must know that the work they did was mentioned to show that it was not just about their title but a call to duty, a call to fulfill assignment and a call to add value to the body of Christ. Their work was mentioned also to show that they did not just take the title for the sake of taking a title or inorder to have a high position or a sitting position in the church like many of us do today. Their work was mentioned to show that the title was not for show or to attract respect and honour or to be respected every...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT6*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT6* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. Yesterday we talked about the group "complainants" and today i want us to see the problems of this group of people. I mean how they are affected by their actions because it is said that "for every action, their is a corresponding reaction" Before then let us look at the word "complain". To complain simply means to 1. To utter expressions of grief; to lament. 2. To utter words of resentment; to murmur; to find fault. 3. To utter expressions of uneasiness, or pain. Having seen the meaning of complain let us see now the consequences of complaining. 1. Complaints always displeased the Lord. *Then Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, everyone at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord was greatly aroused; Moses also was displeased. Num 11:10*. 2. Complaint alway...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT5*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT5* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. The other day we were talking about the other group where many of us belong which is the critic group and today i want us to look at another group called the complainant group. This group abound everywhere and they have the power of influencing every other group. This group complain vertually about everything, they only see the things that are not working, they only see things that must not work. They don't believe that they can make things work and yet complain about every work done. Most times they prefer the status quo rather than finding a way out. The most dangerous aspect of this people is that they can frustrate and demoralise the best. This people are always at the loosing end because they deceive themselves thinking that they are right by complaining and so blame God most times for their woes. These ...

EXPECTATIONS*

*LET US PRAY.* *EXPECTATIONS* *So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them*. .   *Acts 3:5*. I pray for you and with you that whatever be your expectation from God. This week you will take a delivery of all of them in the name of Jesus. Powers that cut expectations short will not locate you and powers that fights expectations will be disappointed in your own case in the name of Jesus. However God is going to meet your expectation may grace speak for you and may mercy qualify you for the great blessings in Jesus name. May the expectations of the wicked over your life and destiny not find expression and may they all be aborted and if any has been birthed may they die now by fire in the name of Jesus. May you rise beyond the expectations of your enemies and may you rise beyound your own expectations. Your are protected, preserved and provided for in this week and beyond by God. The hand of God will take you to places of blessings. In this week your food is bles...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT4*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT4* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. Yesterday we talked about the group were many of us belong. The critic group and we said that they have a degree in what they do and it is called "pull him down" PHD and the worst is that they don't give up until they have rubbished every good work that they see. These people are. 1. Biased in their judgement. You now begin to ask yourself the measure that they are using and the parameters of assessing whatever or on which their judgement is based. They are in the habit of giving harsh or captious judgment. Jesus calls them hypocrites. *And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from ...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT3*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT3* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. In the passage, Judas and Silas were described as prophets. The office that they occupy were mentioned for a reason. If you read verse three of this chapter fifteen you will discover that some were called apostles and others elders but for Judas and Silas they were called prophets. I believe that bro Paul will have something to tell us on why their office was specifically mentioned.  *And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Eoh 4:11-13*. St Paul here is telling you and i that it was Christ that ma...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT2*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT2* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. Having seen that the word of God birthed joy and encouragement in the life of the believers, Judas and Silas had to take it upon themselves to exhort and to strengthen them. Why do they need to strengthen them when it has already birthed joy and encouragement in their lives? Did you remember the parable of the sower? Some lost the word they heard by reason of joy. *But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Math 13:20-21*. You see! Judas and Silas realised that it is not the joy with which the word was received that matters but the rootedness of the word that was heard hence they took it upon them...

EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED*

*FAITH NUGGET* *EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED* *Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.   *Acts 15:32*. I can imagine the joy in the minds of Judas and Silas as the word of God was read to the audience and seeing the joy and the encouragement the word was birthing in the lives of the people. There is no greater joy to any man than seeing that the seed that he sowed is yielding fruit. Paul once said that he planted and Apollo's watered but God gave the growth but there won't be any growth if the soil(heart) is so hard as to make of no effect the planting and the watering. The apostles Judas and Silas had to stay back to exhort and strengthen the believers because they saw a need that has to be met and they had to, the unconvinieces and time to do that not withstanding. They saw that, 1. The word preached to them was birthing joy and encouragement. 2. The people were ready to receive more of the word with joy. 3. T...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt11

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt11* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Having said much about sacrifice, obedience and mercy and the bedrock on which they must be operated which is love it is necessary that we bring to our remembrance few facts before we conclude on sacrifice and then move further. Let us remember that until it is accepted it can not be rewarded. And for it to be rewarded that the mindset must be right, the intention genuine. Not being forced or compelled or threatened to do so and it must be born out of love for God and service to humanity. The sacrifice must be where it is needed not sowing to those that has already and with the intention of appropriate or equivalent or even much more repayment. We must not wait to be begged or have it trumpeted before giving. In essence, it means identifying and meeting a need witho...

GO UP*

*LET US PRAY* *GO UP* *After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem*.   *Jn 5:1*. I pray with you and for you that as you step into this new month , the eight month of the year that as Jesus went up you too will go up. Oh you didn't hear me, I repeat that you must go up, infact you are on your way up now in the name of Jesus. The bible said that "there was a feast" that feast will take place in your life, hone and family this month. You will feast and feast again and again. Powers stopping your feasting has been rendered powerless and impotent in the name of Jesus. The number eight stands for a "new begining" I pray that God will give you a new beginning that will establish you. Make you stand out and shine ever brighter by the power in the name of Jesus. In this month of August, i pray God to give you an august visitor that will change your life for the better. Infact i pray that God will send his angels to you as your august visitor...

DIVINE CONNECTION*

*LET US PRAY* *DIVINE CONNECTION* *So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them. 6 Then Peter said, "Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.*" .  *Acts 3:5-6*. I pray with you and for you that in this new week that the God of heaven will connect you to those that has the capacity and those that He has assigned to be of help to you in the name of Jesus. Wherever they may be, may your paths and theirs cross in this week and may God give you the grace to maximise the opportunity for your own good and for His own glory through Christ our Lord Amen. May you never meet those that you are not supposed to meet, those that will disconnect or discourage you from accessing help from the right place or that will make you not to be blessed in Jesus name Amen. May your helpers not find reason/reasons why they cannot help you and may you not be the reason why you will not be helped in...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt10*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt10* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. When we were talking about sacrifice uncle Samuel came and said that "obedience is better than sacrifice" and of a truth even to make the sacrifice is born out of obedience in other words obedience to God is key to whatever we are doing. Today we want to hear from prophet Hosea concerning sacrifice before we draw the curtain on sacrifice and he has this to say. *For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. Hos 6:6*. Do you remember the story of the good Samaritan? The priest was in a hurry to make sacrifice, the Levite was in a hurry to serve in the sanctuary but there was a man in need of mercy whom they abandoned for the sake of the sacrifice that they were about to make. And Jesus will tell us *But go and lear...

*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt9

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt9* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. As we try to round off on offering our bodies as a living sacrifice to God i want us to take a look at the ultimate purpose of whatever we do as proposed or said by bro Paul in his letter to the Corinthian church and by extension to you and i. *Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Cor 13:1-3*. Did hear what bro Paul said? In summary in whatever we are doing or sacrifi...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt7*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt7* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. I believe that we have done well in terms of looking at offering our bodies as a living sacrifice to God and i want to submit to you at this juncture that they can't be sacrifice without an altar. Yes you heard me right."ALTAR" Remember that we were told by bro Paul that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and you and i know that in every temple that there is an altar. An altar is a place of encounter. Your body is a mobile altar and the question now is "how many people have encountered God through you as you move from place to place, in your working places and even in the market places. An altar is a place of sharing the word of God. Do you know have the word as nobody can give what he or she does not have. You must have sufficient knowled...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt6*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt6* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Let me start today by reemphasising what I said yesterday about keeping the sanctity of our bodies. If we agree that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit it means that it must be adorned with the best. The best here does not imply the expensive but the maximising of what we have for your body. If our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit the big question then is "how do we dress this temple?" Knowing full well that the way you dress is the way you will be addressed. The sanctity of the body is taken so seriously that even at death the body is dressed in such a befitting manner to honour it but unfortunately the living despise their own body even while they live. Sacrifices are in three dimension. 1. To God.2. To selve and lastly to our neighbours....

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt5*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt5* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Our prophet Isaiah told us that we need to be obedient and willing whenever we are making any sacrifice as that is the bedrock of it all. Remember that we are still talking of giving our bodies as a living sacrifice. The giving of our bodies to God as a living sacrifice entails much more than abstaining from the sins of the flesh or satisfying the desires of our bodies. We are also to offer our bodies by living each day for God. Everything we do, including our work, our actions even our duties should be part of our sacrifice to God. *But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? James 3:20-21*. We should be offering our bodies as a living sacrifice b...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt4*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt4* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Now the last time we talked about reasonable sacrifice we consulted the prophet Isaiah to tell us how best to do it and today we will still be asking him to help us to throw more light on the subject Matter. *If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the good of the land;. Is 1:19*. God does not force Himself on anyone, he has given us the freedom of choice so He does not super impose himself on us. You know that we have talked about obedience been better than sacrifice, now another thing that is involved is our willingness. Willingness here mean that for every sacrifice that you will undertake that it most come from your heart not been forced or compelled or threatened to do so as many use different kinds of slogan to put fear in us inorder for us to give. You m...

BEGGING AND DEBT SPIRIT*

*LET US PRAY* *BEGGING AND DEBT SPIRIT* *And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple*;.  *Acts 3:2*. I pray for you and with you that any power or kingdoms that has vowed that you will be carried and dumped anywhere of their choosing be disappointed this minute in the name of Jesus. I pray the hand of God to carry you to places of glory so that you will continue to experience glory to glory by the power in the name of Jesus. Whatever that has been fired into your life to make you a begger, whatever that is making you to borrow to survive, every spirit of borrowing and begging to survive today they catch fire in the name of Jesus. Those waiting for you to come and borrow from them to survive or to live may they all be disappointed in the name of Jesus. In this week may you receive divine intervention for debt cancellation and debt freedom. May you be...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt3*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt3* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Am tempted to say that fasting is one of if not the best way to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice.( Thougham not speaking as an authority in this regard) but i feel it is worth it because Fasting makes us to put our bodies under pressure to enjoy the pleasure of God.  Fasting changes us from the inside. Our life is like rubber band, it's useless if it's not stretched. Fasting also stretches our faith and our mind. Many times God gives us burdens outside of our comfort zone. Fasting help us to gain control of the pleasures our body craves. Fasting as a sacrifice increases ones self control.  Like i said earlier fasting as a sacrifice is also a way of repentance.  It is most times a way of apology too or for atonement for our sins. Fasting also helps to kil...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt2*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt2* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Yesterday we started looking at how we can offer our bodies as a living sacrifice to God and we were able to see few points and today we shall be seeing some other points as the Lord continues to help us. Another area were we offer our bodies as a living sacrifice is through, FASTING. Fasting can be said to be a voluntary abstinence from food, as a religious mortification or humiliation; either total or partial abstinence from customary food, with a view to mortify the appetites, or to express grief and affliction on account of some calamity, or to deprecate an expected evil. You can see that when you fast a lot of things are involved. We can, Fast from food. When we fast from food our appetite is sacrificed inorder to please God. fasting from food is different from s...

REASONABLE SACRIFICE*

*FAITH NUGGET* *REASONABLE SACRIFICE* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. We have looked at sacrifice generally and the benefits of sacrifice so today we want to look at "presenting our bodies as a living sacrifice" Writing to the church in Corinth st Paul told us that, *Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 1 Cor 6:19*. First and foremost he said that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us take a look at temple first 1. A Temple is a place of worship. Which means that our bodies are meant to be used to worship God. We worship God with our bodies by going to church, keeping the church neat, organised in the area of ushering, amongst many others. 2. The church is a Holy place. Using our bodies to worship God also means keeping o...

ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT44*

*FAITH NUGGET* *ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT44* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. We have been trying by the help of the Holy Spirit to see the benefits of sacrifice and today we are going to be seeing that from the seeding aspect of it. The word of God told us the following. "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease." Gen 8:22. *But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. 2 Cor 9:6*. *Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. Gal 6:8*. *And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Gal 6:9*. Life is all about principles and until you master the principles you cannot be a principal over wh...

RECOVERY OF IDENTITY*

*LET US PRAY.* *RECOVERY OF IDENTITY* *And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple*;.  *Acts 3:2*. Whatever that has swallowed your name and left you with no identity today i agree with you in faith that such powers loose their hold in your life in the name of Jesus. Any name that has substituted your name be it barrenness, blindness, deaf and dumb, poverty or whatever it may be called today fire will answer them in the name of Jesus. Any power that has troubled you from birth and has refused to let you be today by the power that raised Jesus from the dead they are roasted by fire in the name of Jesus. Anything that is stopping the beautiful things around you not to get to you, today by the power in the name of Jesus we stop the stopper and render them powerless in the name of Jesus. Any power that has vowed that nothing good will ever come to you o...

ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT43*

*FAITH NUGGET* *ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT43* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Having seen what a sacrifice is, what it takes to sacrifice and how we can make an acceptable sacrifice to God i want us to see the much we can by the help of the Holy Spirit our inspirer the benefits of making sacrifices. 1. *OPEN HEAVEN*. *By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks*. *Heb 11:4*. Because Abel offered a more acceptable sacrifice even at death his voice was still heard 2. *CONVENANT OF BLESSINGS*. *Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His hear...

*ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT42

*FAITH NUGGET* *ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT42* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Having seen so much about sacrifice, I know that the next issue that one may like to know again is "Why sacrifice" since Christ has made the ultimate sacrifice. Is it necessary for us to sacrifice again? There are three things you can do with your life, (1) Waste it by living selfishly and carelessly. (2) Wreck it by living sinfully (3) Give it away in service to God and humanity by living sacrificially. The life that you and i are living today is a product of someone's sacrifice. Your father sacrificed his all so that you can have a good life, your mother left no stone unturned that you might be healthy and so many others too sacrificed so that you can be where you are today and so what are you doing for others to get better by your efforts (sacrifice...

*FAITH NUGGET* *ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT41* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Today i want us to take a look at some people that made sacrifice and see if we can deduce anything from the motive behind the sacrifice. We learn by example. *Then He said, "Take now your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."* *Gen 22:2*. Is God wicked? How can you tell a man that has waited for almost a hundred years without a child to kill the only one that you just gave him? Is that a way of making his children as numerous as the stars as you promised him by taking the "little" that you gave him? BUT in all Abraham obeyed God. *And Saul said, "They have brought them from the Amalekites; for the people spared the be...

ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT40*

*FAITH NUGGET* *ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT40* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. We have looked at sacrifice generally and come to think that we have concluded it yesterday but today the Lord has given us room to continue and today we will just take a look at one thing that is better than sacrifice before we take a look at the benefits of sacrifice. *So Samuel said: "Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams*. *1 Sam 15:22. Sometimes our closeness to God make us take certain things for granted. Sometimes too we tend to use our human judgement against the command and will of God and sometimes too we fell that we can do whatever we like and then appease God with sacrifice. Sacrifice is not doing what is prohi...

*FAITH NUGGET* *ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT39* *I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*. Today let us see how we can conclude on this subject"sacrifice" and then move forward. We are concluding with the kind of sacrifice that affects our fellow human beings as taught by Jesus himself when He said that *" I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me*.' *Math 25:31-46*. You can see that we can sacrifice to God by been a blessing to our fellow human beings as taught by Jesus by. 1. Feeding the hungry 2. Giving drink to the thirsty. 3. Taking care of strangers. 4. Clothing the naked. 5. Visiting the sick. 6. Visiting those in prison. 7. Praying for sinners. 8. Obeying our parents, elders and constituted authorities. 9. Obeying the laws of the land. 10. Correcting those in error. 11. Bind...
