*EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT4*

*Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.  

*Acts 15:32*.

Yesterday we talked about the group were many of us belong. The critic group and we said that they have a degree in what they do and it is called "pull him down" PHD and the worst is that they don't give up until they have rubbished every good work that they see. These people are.

1. Biased in their judgement. You now begin to ask yourself the measure that they are using and the parameters of assessing whatever or on which their judgement is based. They are in the habit of giving harsh or captious judgment. Jesus calls them hypocrites.

*And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. Math 7:3-6*.

2. They see nothing good in others and in what anybody does. They set a standard which they cannot meet and yet condemn those that are trying.

*The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed.". Jn 5:10*.

Since they are aware that nobody should be cured on a sabbath, what did they do on the days that were not sabbath?

3. They base their judgement or assumption of hear say. Their judgement are mostly not on what they have seen but what they perceive. Assume or hear others say.

*And Nathanael said to him, "Can anything good come out of Nazareth?" Philip said to him, "Come and see.". Jn 1:46*.

4. These are people who are waiting to hear bad news from you. They want to hear that the business you started have crumbled, they want to hear that your enemy has been sacked. They want you to fail at all cost but hear me dear child of God. God will disappoint and will continue to disappoint them in the name of Jesus.

5. They are in the habit of condeming anything and everything whether good or bad. They check your background, your qualifications and the authority with which you are operating.

*When He had come to His own country, He taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, "Where did this Man get this wisdom and these mighty works? Is this not the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary? And His brothers James, Joses, Simon, and Judas? And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this Man get all these things?" So they were offended at Him. Math 13:54-57*.

Criticism is double sided. We have the good side and the had side. We have just looked at the bad side. The good one is what is called constructive criticism, it points out the errors with prayers, encouragement good intentions and with the hope that they get corrected for good.

Do you have a ministry of criticism or you have a group of critics where you belong and at the same time plays an active role? Remember that when you point a finger at someone that the rest four points at you.

I pray for you that those hoping and believing that nothing good will ever come out of or from you that they be totally disappointed in Jesus name Amen.
