*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt3*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

Am tempted to say that fasting is one of if not the best way to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice.( Thougham not speaking as an authority in this regard) but i feel it is worth it because
Fasting makes us to put our bodies under pressure to enjoy the pleasure of God. 

Fasting changes us from the inside.
Our life is like rubber band, it's useless if it's not stretched. Fasting also stretches our faith and our mind. Many times God gives us burdens outside of our comfort zone.

Fasting help us to gain control of the pleasures our body craves. Fasting as a sacrifice increases ones self control. 
Like i said earlier fasting as a sacrifice is also a way of repentance. 

It is most times a way of apology too or for atonement for our sins. Fasting also helps to kill selfishness and materialism.

Whenever we weep and chastened our souls with fasting, may we be set free from every shame, poverty and reproach through Christ our Lord Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
