*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt7*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

I believe that we have done well in terms of looking at offering our bodies as a living sacrifice to God and i want to submit to you at this juncture that they can't be sacrifice without an altar. Yes you heard me right."ALTAR"

Remember that we were told by bro Paul that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit and you and i know that in every temple that there is an altar.

An altar is a place of encounter. Your body is a mobile altar and the question now is "how many people have encountered God through you as you move from place to place, in your working places and even in the market places.

An altar is a place of sharing the word of God. Do you know have the word as nobody can give what he or she does not have. You must have sufficient knowledge of God to be able to share to others.

An altar is a place if fellowship with God and man. With God, consisting of knowing his will, agreement with his designs, sharing of mutual affection, enjoying of his presence, conforming to his image and participating in his felicity. And with one another, in duties and in ordinances.

And in the book of Leviticus we were told how to handle the altar.
*And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings.A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out. Lev 6:12-13*.

The fire of prayer, the fire of good deeds, the fire of love, the fire of charity etc. Moses say to you and i "it shall never go out" Are you allowing the fire on your altar to go out or will you allow it to go out. The instruction is that it must not go out.

I pray that God will set us on fire for him so that every chaff in us will be burnt, every virtue purified and every adversary be burnt to ashes through Christ our Lord Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
