*ACTS OF GOOD APOSTLES PT42*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

Having seen so much about sacrifice, I know that the next issue that one may like to know again is "Why sacrifice" since Christ has made the ultimate sacrifice. Is it necessary for us to sacrifice again?

There are three things you can do with your life, (1) Waste it by living selfishly and carelessly. (2) Wreck it by living sinfully (3) Give it away in service to God and humanity by living sacrificially.

The life that you and i are living today is a product of someone's sacrifice. Your father sacrificed his all so that you can have a good life, your mother left no stone unturned that you might be healthy and so many others too sacrificed so that you can be where you are today and so what are you doing for others to get better by your efforts (sacrifice).

Even Jesus had to leave His throne in heaven to come to earth to die for you and i so that we can be saved. We have been able to establish the fact that we can sacrifice by being of reasonable service to God and humanity.

You can also be of reasonable service to yourself by being disciplined, focused and determined to change the status quo. In all, whether our sacrifice is to self, family, society all should be done to the glory of God as whatever that is offered to God is never a waste.

Only what is done for God will last here and hereafter and by sacrificing we are giving what we can't keep to gain what we can't lose.

I pray that God will give us a better understanding of how our sacrifices can better our lives and our society and all the glory to God through Christ our Lord Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
