*EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT3*

*Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.  
*Acts 15:32*.

In the passage, Judas and Silas were described as prophets. The office that they occupy were mentioned for a reason. If you read verse three of this chapter fifteen you will discover that some were called apostles and others elders but for Judas and Silas they were called prophets.

I believe that bro Paul will have something to tell us on why their office was specifically mentioned. 

*And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; Eoh 4:11-13*.

St Paul here is telling you and i that it was Christ that made it so. Sharing different offices to different people for the good of the church.

Have you identified your office? As you cannot funtion well without knowing your office(gift). How are you using it for the good of the church and society? Have you identified areas where it is needed? Don't be a square peg in a round hole otherwise you will be doing some harm to the body of Christ.

There are three ways to fulfill our calling. 1. Is by going. 2. By sending those that will go with our resources and 3. By encouraging those that are already in the field.

Unfortunately there is this group that majority of us belong and that is the group of critics. Those that has aquired pull him down (PHD) certificate. Those that does not and cannot see anything good in what others are doing apart from what they do and unfortunately they do nothing.

Remember that the best Discovery is self discovery and until you discover yourself you will not be able to achieve purpose and destiny.

I pray that you will fulfill destiny and purpose by discovering who you are and what you are called to be so that you witbe a huge gain to your generation through Christ our Lord Amen.
