*EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT12*

*Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.  
*Acts 15:32*.

We have been looking at patience as a virtue as against what seem to be a popular opinion now that patience should be jettisoned.
many of us this day believe that there is no need to be patient with God. As we now believe that the patient dog nolonger eat the fattest bone but no bone at all.

Many of us sing that common song "Abraham blessings are mine" so let us see how Abraham got that blessing that we all wants to or share from.

*Saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. Heb 6:14-15*.

The bible told us that after he waited patiently. He did not just wait but he waited patiently and added that he did not for once stagger at the promise. Which means that he had opportunities to loose hope.and circumstances to say no need to waiting but in all he had to be strong in faith.

*He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God, Rom 4:20*.

Speaking about patience in doing the work of work bro Paul tells us this.

*And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Gal 6:9*.

It takes patience not to grow weary.
It takes patience to get the promise.
It takes patience to persist inorder to break resistance.

Have you lost patience in the face of mockery or delay in expecting your blessings or in doing the work of God? It is not too late to try again as a knock down is never a knock out. It is possible to rise again.

I pray for you that every good virtue that you have lost be restored and that every power fighting your rising be put to shame and disgrace through Christ our Lord Amen.
