*EXHORTED AND STRENGTHENED PT18*

*Now Judas and Silas, themselves being prophets also, exhorted and strengthened the brethren with many words*.  
*Acts 15:32*.

For the past two days now we have been looking at what led Judas and Silas to do what they did and we have been able by the grace of God to see 1. Confidence. 2. Zeal and passion and today we will be looking at faith.

I know that you are shocked to hear me say faith, right? Yes I said faith, I consulted bro James and he told me that faith was part of it. Now let us hear it from him directly.(I won't say from the horse's mouth because he is not a horse 😄😄😄)

*But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? James 2:20.*

There is no way they would have claimed that they have faith without corresponding work. Faith and work goes together. Infact work is the proof or the substance of faith. Hence bro James went ahead to say.

*Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect?. But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works*. *James 2:18-26*.

Can you now see that it was their work that justified their faith? It is not enough to bag titles and claim to be faithful without work. Even without telling people about your faith your work will do that. No wonder it is said that action(work) speaks louder than words(faith)
So let us validate our faith with our work.

I ask that the presence of God will go with you as you prepare to enter the ember month so that the glory of your later will be far more than all that you have experienced through Christ our Lord Amen.
