*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt6*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

Let me start today by reemphasising what I said yesterday about keeping the sanctity of our bodies. If we agree that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit it means that it must be adorned with the best. The best here does not imply the expensive but the maximising of what we have for your body.

If our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit the big question then is "how do we dress this temple?" Knowing full well that the way you dress is the way you will be addressed.

The sanctity of the body is taken so seriously that even at death the body is dressed in such a befitting manner to honour it but unfortunately the living despise their own body even while they live.

Sacrifices are in three dimension. 1. To God.2. To selve and lastly to our neighbours. And whether to self or to our neighbours it must all end to the glory of God.

In life there is no success without sacrifice. Every effort that you and i are making in life is to better our tomorrow and this tomorrow will not be better if we fail to make the necessary sacrifices here and there.

We must make sacrifice to work, study, move to our place of work, deny ourselves the pleasure of sleeping much, maximising out time and not wasting it on things that we not add value to our lives. And until we make these sacrifices life will not worth the while.

I pray that the good Lord will make us to rise and stand upright and firm and may He hear and answer all our secret prayers through Christ our Lord Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
