*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt10*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

When we were talking about sacrifice uncle Samuel came and said that "obedience is better than sacrifice" and of a truth even to make the sacrifice is born out of obedience in other words obedience to God is key to whatever we are doing.

Today we want to hear from prophet Hosea concerning sacrifice before we draw the curtain on sacrifice and he has this to say.

*For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, And the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. Hos 6:6*.

Do you remember the story of the good Samaritan? The priest was in a hurry to make sacrifice, the Levite was in a hurry to serve in the sanctuary but there was a man in need of mercy whom they abandoned for the sake of the sacrifice that they were about to make.

And Jesus will tell us
*But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy and not sacrifice.' For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance." Math 9:13*.

Let us not condemn or label others as "not worthy" just because we don't want to assist them in their need. The sacrifice of going out of your way to be of help to someone like the good Samaritan is what Jesus is teaching you and i. Hence bro John will ask us this question.

*If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?*

Am i condemning sacrifice? No Sir rather am saying that obedience and mercy are part of sacrifice and like we said the other day "if and only if it is done out of and in love" 

I pray for you that you will not lack whatever it will take you to be a blessing to your family and your generation through Christ our Lord Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
