*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt9*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

As we try to round off on offering our bodies as a living sacrifice to God i want us to take a look at the ultimate purpose of whatever we do as proposed or said by bro Paul in his letter to the Corinthian church and by extension to you and i.

*Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Cor 13:1-3*.

Did hear what bro Paul said? In summary in whatever we are doing or sacrificing if it is not born out of love we are just making a show or probably deceiving ourselves.

In a nutshell, any sacrifice not born out if love for God, for self or for neighbor is nothing but an exercise in fultility or a waste of time and energy. The question then is " what informed your sacrifice?" Are you sacrificing to win man's admiration or to win God's approval?

I pray that God will flood our hearts with love so that our sacrifices will gain us eternal reward in heaven and aboundant blessings here on earth through Christ our Lord Amen.
