*REASONABLE SACRIFICE Pt5*

*I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service*. *Rom 12:1*.

Our prophet Isaiah told us that we need to be obedient and willing whenever we are making any sacrifice as that is the bedrock of it all. Remember that we are still talking of giving our bodies as a living sacrifice.

The giving of our bodies to God as a living sacrifice entails much more than abstaining from the sins of the flesh or satisfying the desires of our bodies. We are also to offer our bodies by living each day for God. Everything we do, including our work, our actions even our duties should be part of our sacrifice to God.

*But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? James 3:20-21*.

We should be offering our bodies as a living sacrifice by remembering the hungry and not waste food.
By going to places that glorify God.
By clothing ourselves in such a way and manner that people will not question whether we are believers or not.

Even the way we talk and relate with one another should be done in such a way that God is glorified.
Even giving as much as a cup of water is very much important.

*For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward. Mk 9;41*.

I pray that God will beat our expectations in blessing us this day and always through Christ our Lord Amen.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
