The essence is for you to know that God is interested in all aspect of our human life and endeavors and He is interested in glorifying all of them so that we can be dignified through them. We want to look at why they were transformed from one level of glory to another. We are gradually seeing what made these believers to continue steadfastly in the apostles doctrines and fellowship. We have seen that it was love that compelled them to do what they did according to what bro Paul told us. These kind of believers are very rare to see especially in our modern generation, they are a set of believers who having believed against all odds made up their mind to not just continued in the apostles doctrines and fellowship but continued steadfastly. You will agree with me that one of the reason or some of the reasons they continued steadfastly was that they continued. Had they not continued they wouldn't have had the more teaching that was equipping them for continuity. Even in ordinary sense one can still say that their continuity was as a result of mastering the act of continuity through their steadfastness, have you not heard that practice makes perfect? So you notice that this people from all indications whole heartedly followed all that the apostles taught and did? Many people see prayer in different ways, but we are going to look at it from the angle of what we are teaching. These people followed the apostles in prayer meaning that they saw something that prayer does and decided to follow. The apostles themselves at a time went to Jesus to request that he teaches them how to pray and they tried to let Him know that John had taught his disciples how to pray already so they requested Him to teach them so that they too can pray. Apart from the fact that the bread is a bidding force for the believers the bread also binds the believers to Jesus who is the bread Himself, it make divinity to unite with humanity. It is the expression of the love of a loving father that cannot be expressed in words. The bread is a simbol of oneness, it tells them that they are all one irrespective of race, complexion or nationality. Far or near wherever any is once he or she partakes in the bread he or she becomes one with the universal fellowship. Have you not heard that a family that eats together stays together? The bread makes them a nuclear family where everybody is as important as the other that is why the pieces of bread is equal to show that we are all equal before our father Jesus who is the bread. It was a bond that bonded them together it is also a symbol of unity and community among believers.
