*For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*.

The bible told us that unto us a child is born and to us a son is given and he was not given from the air, it was through the instrumentality of a virgin and a man assigned by God to take of Him while on earth thereby giving the child a family and by extension give dignity to the family.

The family is made up of father, mother and children so one can boldl say that Jesus was from a family. Jesus coming from a family does not in anyway means that God cannot bring Him to earth without passing through a family but for the fact that our God is a God of order He has to follow the order He set by Himself.

The birth of Jesus into the family is a sign that God has entered into our families, it raises the family beyond the combination of father, mother and children but to a dignified union where God is involved and love is shared and experienced 

How do you treat your family? Jesus was obedient to His foster parents as a son of the family He raises his family to the quality of being worthy of respect, honour and dignity as a model for you and i to follow.

Apart from the domestic family there are other families that you and i belong, we have the church as a family, the society as a family. The big question now is how do you participate actively in these families? Do they miss your absence or rejoice at your absence?

I pray for you and with you that you will not cross over to 2026 in the hospital or prison but in the presence of God by the power in the name of Jesus.
