*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT17*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42*.

We have talked about eating together as a family which is evidence in the breaking of bread and we have said that at table that secret are revealed but there is more to that. At table the family come together to share brotherhood and love.

In the breaking of bread heaven and earth unite, men are raised to the dignity of a god and are made God like, the barrier between divinity and humanity is broken and fellowship between humanity and divinity is established hence it is necessary that the breaking of the bread must be continued steadfastly to constantly keep in touch with divinity.

It is one of the ways of showing special thanks to God for the gift of salvation as it is always done in thanksgiving to God not just for the gift of his only begotten son but also the gift of salvation(second chance after the fall of Adam)

At table the bread(Jesus) is broken to fulfill the words of the prophet Isaiah that he was broken for our sins and on him lies the punishment that makes us whole so the breaking is the punishment for our wholeness.
*But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed*. *Isa.53.5*.

The bread is always broken to give everyone access to the throne of grace, it is a sign that there now no barrier to our meeting God directed, like the veil of the temple that was torn in two to show that everyone can gain access to the inner court so also the bread so that all of us will gain access to God's loving heart.

I pray for you and with you that the Lord will frustrate the plans of liers again your life and family and frustrate everyone of their evil plans concerning you and your family by the power in the name of Jesus.
