*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT9*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42*.

Having continued steadfastly they continued in nothing else but in the apostles doctrines and fellowship but what of the word of the Lord? Why the apostles doctrine and not the doctrine of the Lord? Was the apostles glorifying themselves instead of God?

The word "apostles doctrine" here refers to the whole truth of the scriptures, it is the teaching that guarantees salvation not some sort of enticing words that will make the people to be excited for a while and then become worse of hence the converts could continue steadfastly because they were edified.

The apostles doctrine is Christ centered teaching that was handed over to the apostles by Christ Himself and there is no other person that would have done that better apart from those it was handed over to.

The apostles doctrine was not just about teaching about the life of Jesus but living out the life of Jesus. This apostles doctrines is the message that made them to see Christ and then followed steadfastly.

The apostles doctrines is the teaching of the apostles which includes the beliefs about Jesus's life, death, and resurrection, and is considered as a foundation for believer's to believe and form the foundation of their faith on which they can base their lives on.

The apostles doctrine is Christ centered message which was passed down to the believers by the apostles through the authority of Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit.

I pray for you and with you that the older you get the healthier, richer and better you will become by the power in the name of Jesus.
