*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT10*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42*.

Having seen that they continued in the apostles doctrines and in fellowship let us now see what a doctrine is so as to know why they continued therein because they must have come to the understanding that it is worth continuing in.

A doctrine is a set of truth that has been tested and seen to be coming from Jesus Himself and seen to be in line with Jesus life, death and resurrection. It is not something dreamed of or based on personal interpretation as it forms the belief on which the faith of the faithful has to be based on.

A doctrines can be said to be the official and authoritave eachings of the church whose principles and origin is from either divine revelation or from Jesus Himself which the church has accepted because it is mostly derived from the scriptures it is usually meant to guide the followers on what to believe and practice. 

In other words a doctrine is a body of teachings, principles, or instructions that forms the core beliefs of faith that can lead one to the understanding of God, salvation, and moral conduct.

I pray for you and with you that you will finish well this year in good health of mind and body by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again.
