CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT23

*FAITH NUGGETS* 

*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT23*.

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42*.

We are gradually seeing what made these believers to continue steadfastly in the apostles doctrines and fellowship. We have seen that it was love that compelled them to do what they did according to what bro Paul told us.

There is a reason why the love of God compelled them, the love of God did not just compel them for compelling sake but they saw something that made them did so, bro Paul told us that "they judged that Christ died for all" and delt that for Christ to die for all men this Christ is worth loving 
*For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died*. *2Cor.5.14* 

In their own judgement, they judged that if Christ died for all men it follows that all men have died and if all men have died by reason of Christ death it then follows that dead has no final say in the lives of men
*So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory*." *1Cor 15:54*.

They judged that if God has loved them while they were still sinners, how necessary it has become that they love him in return and they judged that the only way to reciprocate this love is to continue steadfastly in the apostles doctrines and fellowship.
*But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us*. *Rom 5:8*.
*we love Him because He first loved us*. *1Jn 4:19*.

I pray for you and with you that regret, sorrow and shame will be far from you in this season by the power in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your *faith* and never loose *hope* and be fervent in *prayers* and praise knowing that *God*, your father *loves* you specially and personally and will never leave you nor forsake you.
