*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT13*

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42*.

Apart from continuing in the apostles doctrines and in fellowship they also continued in the breaking of bread and in prayers it tells me that this converts became part of every activity of the believer, they did not choose which one to participate in and the one not to participate in.

No wonder they continued steadfastly because they embraced everything wholeheartedly and did not hide it but through their actions people could tell that this ones actually believed and continued steadfastly.

From here we can see why they continued in the apostles doctrine, they gave in to everything that the apostles believed and taught and i believed that they saw the light in it and followed steadfastly.

Unlike many of us today that choose what to believe and what to practice even how to practice it and if one dares to ask them they will tell you that "uka ri obi" (meaning that it is not about the practice but the state of the heart) just to excuse themselves from continuing steadfastly.

They continued in fellowship because they don't want to at anytime to miss the breaking of bread which is a fundamental practice of the believers and which was part of the apostles doctrines.

I pray for you and with you that in this remaining part of the year that you will not see misfortune but favour all round by the power in the name of Jesus.

Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave.
