*FAITH NUGGETS* 

*CONTINUE STEADFASTLY IN THE LORD PT23*.

*And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers*. 
*Acts 2:42*.

We have said that one of the secrets that made this believers to continue steadfastly is the fact that they sought God with an open face not with a frowning face or a grudging face and as they sought him with an open face they saw the glory of the Lord.
*But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord*. *2Cor 3:18*.

Can you imagine seeking God and beholding Him as though you are seeing what is in a mirror? Tell me what will make you leave this kind of God after seeing Him as he is? No wonder they continued steadfastly.

But the reason they were able to see Him like that was because they sought Him with an open face. This open face here can mean faith, yes faith because our faith is the eye we use to see God faith sees beyond the physical eye. What sight cannot see faith sees.

By faith they were able to see God and their seeing God as though in a mirror motivated them to to continue steadfastly. Faith does not come from sitting at home, no sir, faith does not come by assumption but faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God so the more you continue the more you hear and the more you hear the more you become steadfast.
*So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God*. *Rom 10:17*.

So if faith comes by hearing it follows that faithlessness also comes by abstaining from hearing the word of God and you are not continuing because you refused to hear the word of God and in as much as you refused to continue to hear the word of God there is no way you can be steadfast.

I pray for you and with you that the wind of destruction will not blow towards you and all that concerns you by the power in the name of Jesus.
