CHARACTER BETRAYS PT9

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT9*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* By the grace of God we have been led to see how the serpent and madam Eve went and we have seen so far how the serpent caught madam Eve's attention and then letter made her curious by trying to make her believe that there are things God did not telling her and from there we saw that another tool that it uses against madam Eve was distraction. Another instrument that the serpent used also is also known as the external influence. Many a time we allow people who are not supposed to be in our space and our life to come near or rule us because we are most times afraid of what people will say. Most times we are influenced by the environment in which we find ourselves. We want to explore our environment, we want to know what is new an...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT8

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT8*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* Can you see that the serpent was not said to be more cunning that any other animal that the Lord God made for nothing and do you remember what it is to be cunning? Now let's see how cunning the serpent was and still is till today. First of all it sought madam Eve's attention and when it succeeded it went ahead to make her curious all in an attempt to ruin her life and that of generations unborn. May we never have the serpent as our visitor in Jesus name. From seeking the attention of madam Eve the serpent went ahead to make her curious and with all that it distracted madam Eve from the original plan that God has for her and her family and because she succeeded in distracting her it went ahead to destroy her life and destiny...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT7*

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT7*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* We have seen that the serpent is an attention seeking being so it has to open a conversation with madam Eve so as to take her attention from what God said to her to what it wants her to think about and believe and wants her be and as such it pretended to be empathic with madam Eve. Remember the beginning of the conversation ""Has God indeed said" apart from the fact that it wanted madam Eve to believe that there is something that God is hiding from her and her husband the the question came with the impression that it knows what God said so why ask again if it already knows? First and foremost you will see from the question that the aim of the question is to make madam Eve to be curious to know why God asked them no...

DIVINE PROTECTION

*LET US PRAY*  (*PRAYER FOR THE MONTH*) *DIVINE PROTECTION*. *He shall cover you with His feathers, And under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler*. *Ps 91:4*. What else shall we say unto the Lord for all that He has done for us if not to say a very big thank you to Him for all that he has done, He will do and will continue to do and so to Him that can do and over do be all the glory both now and forever by the power in the name of Jesus. Dearly beloved, i pray for you and with you that in this new month and beyond that the God of all grace will be your shield, he will so protect you that the enemies of your faith, progress, prosperity, health and life will never have access either to do you evil or to harm you to your family and all that belongs to you by the power in the name of Jesus  Any power or kingdoms or personality that fells that they are not done with you and has vowed to continue to fight you by any means may the God of vengeance speak...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT6

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT6*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* We have seen that the best of the devil births the worst destruction because if what the serpent presented as a way of showing empathy to madam Eve could destroy not just her destiny but the destinies of generations yet unborn you will agree with me that no matter how good the devil presents himself to be that his best is the worst you can ever get compared to what God has for us. From what we saw there were many trees in the garden but one out these many trees was what man was asked not to eat but he has to eat from the rest but the serpent came and directed the man to that particular tree that he was asked not to eat and man cheaply fell for it and the big questions you and i have to answer because Eve represented you and i is. A...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT6

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT6*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* We have seen how the serpent came to destroy the life and destiny of madam Eve. It was not invited but it came and it came as one coming to show concern to the plight of madam Eve and to give it to madam Eve madam Eve did not complain anything to the serpent yet the serpent still has its way because it has made up its mind to accomplish that purpose. Remember that the chapter started with "Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made" it tells you and i that the serpent was not the only creature of the creator but it choosed to be so. So anything and anybody can be whatever he or she chooses to be. The serpent like we said earlier come like one with the interest and welfare of m...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT5

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT5*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* We have seen the character of the serpent by which it was introduced and we saw that for one to be cunning it goes beyond being trickish rather it has to do with intelligence gathering by an intelligent being and using that against you not for your good. We are talking about a being that is in the business of deceit with a high level of intelligence and thousands of years of experience in the act. To tell you how intelligent this being is it came to Eve without introducing itself and it's mission but went ahead to engage her as someone that has the interest of hosting at heart by asking a question as though it was concerned about the welfare of Eve. "Has God indeed said" which means that it knows for sure what God act...

FATHER DISAPPOINT ALL UNFRIENDLY FRIENDS IN MY LIFE

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *FATHER DISAPPOINT ALL UNFRIENDLY FRIENDS IN MY LIFE*. *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* Once and again we welcome another beautiful week that the Lord has made for us to rejoice and be glad and so to Him alone who has done this and will do many more for us irrespective of our unwordiness be all the glory both now and forever in Jesus name Amen. Beloved i pray for you and with you that in this season that anyone that has found his or her way into your life as a friend, I mean anyone that came as a friend but with an evil intention may the good Lord expose them to their shame and weed them out of your life by the power in the name of Jesus  Anyone on an evil assignment whether sent on a personal capacity and is using all available means to carry out that assignment m...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT4

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT4*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* When the serpent which we have said that came for a mission which it eventually accomplished was introduced i told us that it's mission was born out of jealousy. Imagine the serpent seeing the grace and favour of God upon man which it can never boast of or experience. Imagine it imagining or seeing the peace and beauty of the whole creation and the authority given to man to control it, why will it not be jealous. All these goodies that God personally prepared for man was what the serpent was not happy about not that man offended it and to also bring man to its own level it has to do something that will make man to be in no relationship at all with his maker and then it succeeded through the woman. The moment that was done the...

CHARACTER BETRAYS PT2

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS PT2*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* Yesterday we saw that the visit of the serpent was unsolicited for and and uncalled for yet it came and we said that because the serpent is on a mission that it will always come to fulfill it's mission whether you call for it or not and we concluded that the mission of the serpent is to cause separation in our relationship with our maker. The passage started as we saw yesterday by introducing the character of the serpent and not the personality of the serpent. You can never be different from your character because your character is who you are that is why you cannot behave it and not become it and what is it's character "cunning" To be cunning simply means to have the necessary knowledge in getting what is wanted ...

CHARACTER BETRAYS

*FAITH NUGGET* *CHARACTER BETRAYS*  *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen 3:1* This passage of Gen three verse one started by telling us the character and the personality of the serpent among other animals and if you look at the mission of this serpent in this passage you will discover that the reason why it's character was exposed is to make sure that you avoid it by all means. Before we move further let me place it on record here that the serpent was never invited, Eve did not open any conversation with the serpent, it came when it was sure it can have its way in the life of Eve. It came when the man(the strength and protector) of the woman was away. What could be the reason for this unsolicited visit from the serpent? Whether we like it or not at one time or the other the serpent will always come calling, ...

THE WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE

*FAITH NUGGET* *THE WAY, TRUTH AND LIFE*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*. We saw that it took the life experiences of king David to follow God hence he called himself a sheep and called his God his shepherd. So you know that after several thousands of years that Jesus came on board and also called Himself the good shepherd? I believe that flesh and blood did not reveal that to king David but our father in heaven. How can David call God a shepherd and God now appearing after many years to say that what David said was true? It can only be through revelation so you can now see where the audacity of king David is coming from. A true knowledge that is born out of revelation. You and i may not have an idea of the relationship between a shepherd and a sheep but we can rely on these His words. *Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except thro...

GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT6

*FAITH NUGGET* *GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT6*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*. The other day we said that there are some things that king David knew that have him an edge in speaking the way that he spoke concerning himself and the Lord, he saw himself as a sheep and the Lord as a shepherd and he went ahead to tell us what he enjoyed because he allowed himself to be the sheep of the shepherd. Before we proceed let me place it on record that it was never recorded anywhere that the Lord called David a sheep. Infact before Jesus came and said that He is the good Shepherd king David was dead over a long period of time. The position of a sheep and seeing God as a shepherd was a position adopted by king David in following God and it went well for him. You too can adopt any method of your choice in following God but for me this method of a sheep and a shepherd is not a bad idea and it is on...

GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT5

*FAITH NUGGET* *GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT5*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*. We have been wondering what made king David to have the kind of mind that he had to the point that there were certain things that he said with audacity as though he has already paid God for it. Was he not a human being like us? So what gave him all that mind to talk in that manner? It is said that for one to have a lion share that the individual must have a Lions mind, you don't ask for a lion share when you have a chickens mind so i put it to you this day that there are certain things that king David knows or must have known to make him talk like that. Remember that knowledge is power. Remember that he talked about a shepherd and a sheep and fortunately king David was a shepherd so in a nutshell he knows very well the relationship between a shepherd and a sheep. he was telling us that he knew what to...

GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT4*

*FAITH NUGGET* *GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT4*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*. We have been talking about the boldness of king David when he said that surely only the goodness and mercy of God shall follow him not for some days or whenever he has the faith but all the days of his life and we began to look at what made him so bold as to say that but instead he surprised us by going further to say more. "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever" What king David is teaching you and i is that after enjoying all that God gave him here on earth which according to him is more than enough he still continue the enjoyment when he is done with his stay here on earth and he puts it this way "I will dwell" meaning that he will remain in the house of the Lord forever and ever not visit or be there once in a while. David is a man that likes to be in the presence of...

GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT3

*FAITH NUGGET* *GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT3*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*.  Sometimes when i reflect on the understanding of our fathers' in faith i get so scared thinking when will somebody like me get there. Did you remember what we saw yesterday? I mean when king David said "surely" he meant to say that he is too sure of what he knows about God in relation to His goodness and mercy. The summary of what we saw yesterday is that king David was too sure that God's goodness and mercy is his portion and not just that but that after enjoying that here on earth he will continue to enjoy something more than his goodness and mercy not for years but for eternity.can you imagine that? As if that was not enough he went ahead to say that he will not labour to find God's goodness and mercy but that God's goodness and mercy will follow him that is to say that even w...

GOD'S GOODNESS AND MEECY PT2

*FAITH NUGGET* *GOD'S GOODNESS AND MEECY PT2*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*. It obvious that king David was convinced of what he was saying as he started by saying "surely". Surely is a statement of fact, he was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that if he makes the Lord his shepherd that the only things that will continually follow him are God's goodness and mercy. One thing that is audible to the deaf and visible to the blind about God is God's goodness infact God is goodness personified. The only thing about God is goodness. We are not saying that God has goodness in character but that goodness is His nature. He does not struggle to be good or try to be good. No sir God is goodness Himself. King David was smart enough to know study God and in his study of God he has come to realize that the moment you see God you see goodness. The goodness of God is so much th...

GOD'S GOODNESS AND MEECY

*FAITH NUGGET* *GOD'S GOODNESS AND MEECY*  *Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*.  *Ps 23:6*. We continue to thank God for the grace of finishing our 40 days fasting and prayer which is not by power nor by might but by the special grace of this same great and mighty God, to him alone be all the glory both now and forever. We concluded our fourth days journey reflecting from the journal of king David how he was telling us what will happen to us if we make our Lord our shepherd and we stopped at where he told us that one of the many benefits is that the Lord will prepare a table for us even in the presence of our enemies and that the Lord will also anoint our head and that also he will make our cup to overflow. We saw that our cup runs over is to say that the supply is more than enough and that it is never finishing.and when you have a situation like that you can not buy know for sure that the only thin...

BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT38

*FAITH NUGGET* *DAY 40 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM*(*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT38*  *All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.  *Jn 1:3*. We have talked much about how we are to enjoy the year from knowing that in the beginning was the word and we said that since the world began from the word that we too need the word to have a better world. From there we saw that the word was with God and so we said that we need to be with God so as to succeed and succeed well and we also saw that the word was God and we said that in all that we have to do this year that we must put God first. We went ahead to see that "all things were from the word" which means that you and i are from the word and we said that we can't do without our source because if we do that we will lack resources. Now let us hear the conclusion from prophet Isaiah. *If you are willing and obedient, You shall eat the goo...

O LORD LORD LET MY CUP RUN OVER

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *DAY 39 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM* (*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *O LORD LORD LET MY CUP RUN OVER*. *You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over*.  *PS 22:5*. Once and again dearly beloved we continue to give thanks to the Lord for the great things that He has done and He alone can do especially for the greater things that He will still do for us and members of our families. To Him alone be all the glory both now and forever. Dearly beloved i pray for you and with you that on this season and this year that the Lord will so bless you to the point that even the blessed shall call you blessed. Your blessings will so overflow to the point that those around you will even have more than enough from you by the power in the name of Jesus. May you be so connected to God so that your supply from above will never diminish and your supply continue on daily and constant ba...

BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT38

*FAITH NUGGET* *DAY 38 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM*(*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT38*  *All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.  *Jn 1:3*. We have seen that the Lord is not just a provider but a great one that provides for both the good and the bad and that He provides even before the need arises and apart from that timely provision He even goes as far as making sure that you enjoy the food your enemies not withstanding and unfortunately some people go as far as making Him their enemy and i wonder where they will get their provision. We also saw that God even provides for even the birds of the air and the grass of the field and that He has asked you and I a question which says that if he can do that for the animals and trees what of you and I that are more valuable than they and apart from preparing a table for us in the presence of our enemies king David went ahead to tell us that "our...

BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT37

*FAITH NUGGET* *DAY 37 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM*(*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT37*  *All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.  *Jn 1:3*. We have been listening to king David on the benefits of making the Lord our shepherd and i do know that you too have your personal understanding of who God is to you and i have no doubt in my mind that your personal understanding of God may be more indepth in relation to that of king David as such that of king David can only add to increase that knowledge.or understanding  From all that we have articulated from what King David told us i have come to understand that God does not just prepare a table for us but God also provides before the need arises. Let's hear Jesus Himself talk to us about that. *Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life mor...

BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT36

*FAITH NUGGET* *DAY 36 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM*(*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT36*  *All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.  *Jn 1:3*. We have seen that with or without our enemies that the Lord will still prepare a table for us such that even when we don't have enemies the table will still be prepared. The Lord is preparing the table not because we have enemies but because He is a father that cares and loves his own and would not want his own to go without been provided for. Our God is not in the business of proving anything or any point to anyone or trying to make our enemies regret of not making Him their Lord or make them to be jealous but bringing to our knowledge that he is a father that provides and makes sure that what He provided is utilized or used for the purpose for which it was provided for. The good news here is that the Lord will prepare a table whether we are Worthy o...

BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT35

*FAITH NUGGET* *DAY 35 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM*(*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT35*  *All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.  *Jn 1:3*. King David told us that if we make the Lord our shepherd especially since we came from Him that the Lord will prepare a table for us even in the presence of our enemies. We know that we are from the Lord but the Lord will never force Himself on us so it takes our acknowledging him as our Lord to enjoy that table. When we make the Lord our shepherd, the presence of our enemies cannot stop God from providing or making a table for us and God will not allow them either to stop us from enjoying what he has provided for us so as far as the Lord is concerned the presence of our enemies has absolutely nothing to do with our enjoyment. As long as we choose to make the Lord our shepherd, No matter how strong our enemies are they are only our enemies not our stoppe...

BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT34

*FAITH NUGGET* *DAY 34 OF OUR 40 DAYS BEGINNING WITH THE BEGINNER PROGRAM*(*PRAYER AND FASTING PROGRAM*) *BEGINING WITH THE BEGINNER PT34*  *All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made*.  *Jn 1:3*. We have come to know that the "all things" that was created by the word includes you and i and that because we came from the word that the word is interested in providing for you and i hence he prepared a table for us according to king David in the presence of our enemies. Permit me to say that there is nothing that we will ever need that the word cannot provide because He is capable of creating all things. *You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over*.  *Ps 23:5*. The most interesting thing here is that God Himself is the one preparing the table or that has prepared the table for you and i not giving us the ingredients to prepare it by ourselves and as such we are sure of the best ...
