APPRECIATION!!!

It is said that it is only great fools that are not grateful and as one that is not a great fool i want to use this medium on behalf myself, family, parents and students of Amazing Grace Schools and the good people of Ika nation use this medium and many more to say a big thank you to Dr Donald Petersen the chairman and chief executive officer of D- Peterson foundation and the entire members of D- Peterson foundation for their giants feats in Ika nation.

The history of schools in Ika land will not be complete anytime it is told without making mention Dr Donald Peterson and his D-Petterson foundation which has been and has continued to set a standard that is unequaled and unparalleled and intimidating to emulate.

The day was Saturday the 8th day of February 2025, the venue was the red chamber of the university of Delta and the time was 8:00am. It was a day that dawned with a different in the academic landscape of Ika nation as heads of schools and their selected students started marching into the red chambers of the university to honour the mam whom honour is due. Am invitation that no participant will ever regret honouring.

It was the say that Dr Donald Petterson the chairman and chief executive officer of the D-Petterson foundation who through his foundation known as D-Petterson foundation brought together all the heads of schools and some of their students to a one day strategic seminar tagged LEADERSHIP STRATEGIES FOR EFFECTIVE SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION.

This one day seminar that is unequaled and unparalleled putting into consideration the conducive environment under which it was held, the resource persons that are not below professors level, the materials made available for the seminar, the dignitaries that graced the occasion in the likes of Prof Mrs Stella Chiemeke the vice chancellor of University of Delta, the chairman Post primary education board Asaba Chief Dr Emmanuel Tibi amongst many others.

As man that has been attending seminar which i usually pay for i have never seen one with such calibre of dignitaries, organisation and others. In this seminar that is free of charge irrespective of the fact that it is supposed to causes each participant thousands of naira was not just free of charge but the participants were entertained beyond their imagination and expectations ranging from snacks break to lunch.

To proof that Dr Donald Petterson is a man of unmatched qualities he went ahead to do the unthinkable by making sure that all the participants both the heads of schools and their students went home with something reasonable in their pockets. We were paid for what we were supposed to pay for. Can you imagine that?

And to crown it all he used the seminar to unveil another project from his foundation called "OLYMPIAD" Olympiad according to him is geared towards looking for brilliant students to sponsor in their academic pursuit through quiz competition and not just the students but the school that produced the student will not be left out in that sponsorship.

To cap it up, this is happening at a time everyone is complaining of the bites of the economic hardship and at a time that no one is wishing the next person to succeed but here is one that does not wish others to succeed but helps them to succeed giving flesh to the mantra "live and lets live"

Having reminisced on the deeds and character of the person of Dr Donald Petterson and his foundation that i have decided to thank him in a special way especially by putting it in writing and in public space for emulation and my little way of encouraging him not to relent as the sky remains his starting point and not his limit.

The man Dr Donald Peterson is a living proof of the saying "that a rich man is different from a generous man" ln talking of people like him mother Theresa of Calcutta will say "don't ever leave people the way you met them" and i believe that Dr Donald Peterson is a man that leaves people better than he met them.

To Dr Donald Petterson and his foundation i Evang Lucky Morka once and again says a big thank you for all that you are doing for humanity and pray that the good Lord will bless and reward you abundantly in Jesus name.
