*CHARACTER BETRAYS* 


*Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?" 
*Gen 3:1*

This passage of Gen three verse one started by telling us the character and the personality of the serpent among other animals and if you look at the mission of this serpent in this passage you will discover that the reason why it's character was exposed is to make sure that you avoid it by all means.

Before we move further let me place it on record here that the serpent was never invited, Eve did not open any conversation with the serpent, it came when it was sure it can have its way in the life of Eve. It came when the man(the strength and protector) of the woman was away.

What could be the reason for this unsolicited visit from the serpent? Whether we like it or not at one time or the other the serpent will always come calling, unexpected and uninvited that is why we must be on our guard at all time to avoid the deceitfulness of the serpent.

The reason for this visit cannot be far from the very nature of the visitor hence we were told that it is more cunning than all the breast of the fields. From all indication the reason for the visit is nothing but jealousy. Yes you heard me jealousy.
*What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor*. *Ps 8:4-5*.

The serpent saw the glory of man, he saw what man was made for, it saw what awaits man and the relationship between man and God and it knows that if it can severe the relationship man will loose everything and as such it came so that man can loose everything. The principal mission of the serpent anytime you see it around you is to make sure that you loose the salvation of your soul by breaking your relationship with God.

I pray for you and with you that the glory of the later in your life and ministry, carrier and business will be far more than the former by the power in the name of Jesus
