*GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT6* 

*Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*. 
*Ps 23:6*.

The other day we said that there are some things that king David knew that have him an edge in speaking the way that he spoke concerning himself and the Lord, he saw himself as a sheep and the Lord as a shepherd and he went ahead to tell us what he enjoyed because he allowed himself to be the sheep of the shepherd.

Before we proceed let me place it on record that it was never recorded anywhere that the Lord called David a sheep. Infact before Jesus came and said that He is the good Shepherd king David was dead over a long period of time. The position of a sheep and seeing God as a shepherd was a position adopted by king David in following God and it went well for him.

You too can adopt any method of your choice in following God but for me this method of a sheep and a shepherd is not a bad idea and it is one of the best methods to adopt if you ask me because even Jesus called and still calls Himself the good shepherd so for you to follow Jesus you must be ready to be or act as a sheep.

The other day we said that a sheep hears the voice of the master, that a sheep follows the shepherd and today we want to see more how the sheep can enjoy the shepherd.

DOES NOT FOLLOW A STRANGER. No sheep follows a stranger no matter how good the stranger seem. The sheep does not care whether the stranger has a better pasture or not but always and at all times follow the shepherd.
*Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers*." *JN 10:5*.

KNOWS THE SHEPHERD. Every sheep knows the shepherd, they don't just follow for following sake but they follow who they know as their shepherd
*I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own*. *Jn 10:14*.

I pray for you and with you that any power, kingdom or personality fighting the restoration of your blessings will meet death at the point of conception of the idea by the power in the name of Jesus.
