*GOD'S GOODNESS AND MERCY PT4* 

*Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever*. 
*Ps 23:6*.

We have been talking about the boldness of king David when he said that surely only the goodness and mercy of God shall follow him not for some days or whenever he has the faith but all the days of his life and we began to look at what made him so bold as to say that but instead he surprised us by going further to say more. "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever"

What king David is teaching you and i is that after enjoying all that God gave him here on earth which according to him is more than enough he still continue the enjoyment when he is done with his stay here on earth and he puts it this way "I will dwell" meaning that he will remain in the house of the Lord forever and ever not visit or be there once in a while.

David is a man that likes to be in the presence of God as a shepherd David knows that any sheep that is in the presence of the shepherd doesn't lack anything as such he sought to dwell in the presence of God forever because he does not want to lack anything.
*Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me*. *Ps 51:11*.

We can figure out why David choose to dwell in the presence of the Lord forever and ever. It is because in the presence of the Lord mountains (problems) melt like wax. In the presence of the Lord there fullness of joy, in the presence of the Lord there is no lack.

Being in the presence of God means having all things and life eternal but it all starts here on earth. You cannot jump into his presence rather you have to start practicing it here and if you don't spend time with him here how can you spend eternity with him. We spend time and be in his presence here in the place of prayer, fellowship, fasting, righteous living and so forth.

I pray for you and with you that whatever that will make you to regret for the rest of your life will never come your way in the name of Jesus.
