GOD WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED IN OUR LIVES

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *GOD WILL FINISH WHAT HE STARTED IN OUR LIVES*. *Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen*.  *Eph.3.20*  What i say unto the Lord 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 all i have to say is thank you Lord (2×) 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 thank you Lord 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 thank you Lord 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 all i have to say is thank you Lord 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 indeed we will never be tired of thanksgiving you Lord for all you have been doing in our lives and family. GOD WILL MAKE A WAY

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *GOD WILL MAKE A WAY*. *Those that said "who are you" are now gathering to pay you homage* *And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*. *Luke.24.51* Do you know that as beautiful as Jericho is and as hard as Elisha was trying not to be distracted in his pursuit of the blessing another set of the sons of the prophet came again to mock him for the second tine but he refused to give up that is why in the journey of the blessing the more you go the more challenging it becomes. Not minding Jericho and the sons of the prophets Elisha continued his journey to be blessed but the sons of the prophets gathered other sons of the prophet to the point that they were up to fifty in number just to make sure that they stop Elisha but the more they gather the more determined to make it Elisha becomes. Wait a min...

THE BLESSING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *THE BLESSING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE*. *You are fearfully and wonderfully made* *And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*. *Luke.24.51* One of the very reasons why Jesus blessed us was what the sons of the prophet told Elisha in Bethel and they said to him "Do you know that the LORD will take away your master from over you today?" In other words they were saying to him "after today you will be alone, better join us, he is going to leave you with nothing but Elisha never mined them. *Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, "Do you know that the LORD will take away your master from over you today?" And he said, "Yes, I know; keep silent*!" *2Kgs.2.3*  In other words they were telling him that the man that he has followed all his life w...

THE BLESSING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *THE BLESSING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE*. *They will watch you celebrate* *And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*. *Luke.24.51* We have decided to take a look at how Elijah was taken up so that we took can learn one or two things about how to get the blessing because the way Elijah was taken up and released the mantle on Elisha is the same way Jesus was taken up and released the blessing upon you and i, the only difference is that our blessings is more superior to that of Elisha. We said that they left Gilgal which means rolling to Bethel which means the house of God, for you and i want to get the blessing we need to allow certain things that will not allow us to enter the house of God to roll away from our lives so that when we enter the house of God we will not be distracted or doubt the presence and the ability ...

YOU TOO CAN BE BLESSED

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *YOU TOO CAN BE BLESSED*. *Thank God that it is Thursday because your star is already shinning* *And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*. *Luke.24.51* The first time that i heard about "double portion" was when Elijah was about to be taken up to heaven and he asked his servant Elisha what he wanted and Elisha said a double portion of your spirit sir, and he gave him the condition on which he Elisha could get the blessing. I don't know how Elisha knew what he knew because before they embarked on that journey Elijah begged him to stay behind that he was going to Bethel from Gilgal and Elisha refused to allow his master be, he was desirous of something and hoping to get it so he decided to follow until he gets it, From Gilgal which means "rolling" he allowed all things to roll away...

CONTINUOUS BLESSING

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *CONTINUOUS BLESSING*. *Your cup of happiness is overflowing* *And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*. *Luke.24.51* Are you seeing what am seeing? Let me quickly tell you before i forget or move forward bro Luke said that while He was blessing them He was parted from them and i saw that the blessing was never ended before He left them that is to say that He is still releasing the blessing till now. He raised his hands in blessing them and till now He has not brought down the hands which means that he is still blessing you and i and that is the part that i love most because i love to be blessed always and that is what Jesus is doing for you and i. The bible made us to understand that He was doing that when He went to heaven meaning that He did not leave us alone, He left us with something and not just...

GENERATIONAL BLESSING

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *GENERATIONAL BLESSING* *Divine protection is upon you* *And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them*.  *Lk 24:50*. There are things in life that should never be taken for granted some of which is the wish of a dying father, the advise of a dying father and the blessings of a dying father. As normal as they may sound they carry something that are mostly generational  Let us take a look at some of them, when Abraham wanted to die he made a wish and compelled his servant to make sure that he carries it to the later even to the point of making sure that the servant takes an oath to proof to him that he must do it. When Isaac wanted to die he sent for his first son and told him that he wants to pass on but that he will not do that until he blessed him and so he told him what to do so as to get it but unfortunate...

DIVINE VISITATION

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *DIVINE VISITATION*. “*Blessed is the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited and redeemed His people*. *Luke 1:68*. We are grateful oh Lord 🎵🎵, we are grateful oh Lord our God, for all you have done for us,🎵🎵, we are grateful 🎵🎵, we are grateful oh Lord. Indeed we are not great fools to forget all that you have done for us Lord. We are indeed very grateful oh Lord. Beloved i pray for you and with you that as you step into this beautiful week made by the Lord for you and i to be glad that you will experience divine visitation that you turn your life around for good by the power in the name of Jesus. In life nobody has ever encountered God and remain the same, I pray for you today that you will have an encounter with this good and gracious God that will make you to begin to experience His goodness and benevolence henceforth by the power in the name of Jesus. ...

YOU ARE BLESSED

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *YOU ARE BLESSED* *It is your season of laughter* *And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them*.  *Lk 24:50*. Jesus took them out to bless them and not to curse or discourage them which means that Jesus is interested in our being blessed and he did that when He was about to leave them so what is the significance of blessing them when you are about to leave them. The bible told us that the blessing of God makes us rich and adds no sorrow. Which means that God is interested in giving them what will drive away sorrow from their lives because in the world there are many things that can cause us sorrow. *The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it*. *Prov.10.22* It follows that the blessings of God can make one rich in faith, rich in hope and rich in godliness and holiness to be rich h...

IT TAKES THE RESULT TO CANCEL THE INSULT

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *IT TAKES THE RESULT TO CANCEL THE INSULT* *You are a blessing to your generation* *And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them*.  *Lk 24:50*. He led that out of Bethany before He blessed them because there are forces in Bethany that opposes prayer and prophecy and because he wanted them to be truly blessed he has to lead them out of Bethany. Did you not remember that it was in Bethany that Jesus gave a prophecy that the sickness of Lazarus will not lead into death and Lazarus died? *When Jesus heard that, He said, "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified through it*." *John.11.4*  It wasn't because Jesus was a fake prophet but it was because Lazarus could not contend with the forces of Bethany that frustrates prophecy that is why to proof that Jesus was not a...

BE HUMBLE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *BE HUMBLE* *And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them*.  *Lk 24:50*. Before Jesus blessed you and i as represented by the disciples bro Luke told us that He lead them out and we said that for him to lead them out means that there is a journey of faith that needs to be made for one to be blessed, you don't sit at home or avoid fellowship and expect to be blessed. You must submit yourself to be led out if you want to be blessed  The blessing is for all of us but only those that can submit themselves to be lead out can get it so your being lead out is a test of your obedience to divine command and your submissiveness to the master. God will always resist the proud(those that will refuse to go) and gives grace to the humble(submissive ones) *Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submis...

AS FAR AS BETHANY

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *AS FAR AS BETHANY* *And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them*.  *Lk 24:50*. Bro Luke started concluding his gospel by telling us how Jesus blessed you and i and as if that was not enough he told us that Jesus went as far as Bethany to bless us. My point here is that Jesus could have released the blessing where He met them because as at then He was no longer with them but He choose to lead them as far as Bethany to release the blessing. When we talk about how far Jesus can go because of you and i sometimes it sounds exaggerating but that is the truth, it always sound exaggerating because to you and i it is impossible because not that we cannot do some of them but because we will never take the pain to do that. Another thing why it always seem exaggerating to us is that when we look at the rational behind it or our qualific...

BE TRANSFORMED

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *BE TRANSFORMED* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Having risen from the dead Jesus became a spirit and for Him to function on this earth He had to carry a body and since His original body with which He lived on earth has been transformed into Spirit Jesus needed a body to operate so he had to leave Himself in a bread so that He can have a vessel to operate on the earth. When you participate in the table of the Lord you are donating yourself to Jesus to be used to birth His purpose on the earth and what is His purpose you may ask and i will tell you that it is to make the father known and Jesus whom He has sent. In this realm it takes the physical to operate that is why even Jesus that is God has to borrow fl...

YOUR STAR WILL NEVER BE HUNTED

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *YOUR STAR WILL NEVER BE HUNTED*. *Where is He Who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east at its rising and have come to worship Him*.  *Matt.2.2*  You deserve a very big thank you 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 you deserve a very big thank you 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 father you deserve a very big thank 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 a very big thank you 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 thank you my Lord indeed you deserve more than the biggest thank you ever for what you have done for us, what you are doing and for what you will continue to do. I pray for you and with you that whoever that is a star gazer and has been looking for your star not for good but for evil, child of God as we stand in agreement in prayer today may they never succeed in seeing your star by the power in the name of Jesus. Any man or women that has been looking for your star for evil and has not succeeded...

IT IS ABOUT TRANSFORMATION

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *IT IS ABOUT TRANSFORMATION* *Go and succeed* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. At table love and recognition is established, love of the provider that did not demand anything from you yet provides for you out of love and generosity and recognition of who you are(self discovery) until you are discovered in God you are not covered. Today i want us to take a look at one or two things that happens at the table and try to see whether we can close this verse today so that we can move to other verses. Amen!!! The table of Jesus is not like any other tables, it is a table where divinity mingles with humanity, it is a table of transformation  The table of the Lord is a table of exchange, yes you hea...

ALWAYS GIVE THANKS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *ALWAYS GIVE THANKS* *Tomorrow is Sunday go to church and be blessed* *By his wounds you are healed* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. From the account of bro Cleopas and his friend we have seen that Jesus is always opens up to us through the Scripture so we can understand Him better from there He establishes a relationships with us so we can become family. then He breaks Himself so we can be saved making us to understand that He doesn’t spare anything. Not His teaching, not His body, not His life just to birth our salvation. Many of us too who are saved have spent so much time in church and fellowships but have never recognised Jesus even in the breaking of bread because it has become a routine ...

BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER* *Favour is your new identity* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Jesus met bro Cleopas and his friend in a state of fear and despair and refused to leave them in that condition to the point that when the opening of scriptures seemed to fail He has to take them further to breaking of bread because Jesus can meet you the way you are but will not leave you the way He met you. Amen!!! Jesus opened the scriptures to them and they refused to succumb even when the message was burning their hearts within them yet they refused to give in but Jesus on His part also refused to give up on them and so Jesus met their resistance with His persistence even into the breaking of bread. ...

*FAITH NUGGETS* (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *HE GAVE HIS ALL* *You are the next in line for a miracle* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Bro Cleopas and his friend told us how Jesus started from Moses and the prophets and expounded the scriptures to them and how He made Himself known to them at the breaking of the bread and we saw that Jesus gave all to them to birth their salvation. Jesus met them where they were and rook them deeper into relationship and fellowship with Him. He started by giving them the word which is Himself and then went ahead to break the bread which is Himself making Himself available to everyone. He broke Himself so that He can reach everyone and so that He can go round. He broke the bread for them because they needed energy for the journey, the journey of life and the journey of fa

HE GAVE HIS ALL

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *HE GAVE HIS ALL* *Continue to shine unabated* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Are you surprised that Jesus had to make Himself known to them at the breaking of bread? That is the extend to which Jesus would go in order to save a soul, after speaking to them and opening them up to the scriptures He still went ahead to make Himself known to them by breaking the bread for them. Bro Cleopas and his friend told us that it was at the breaking of the bread that Jesus made Himself known to them "and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*" what we are trying to look at here is why Jesus had to break the bread because He would have given it to them without breaking it. Let us start fro...

DIVINE ENCOUNTER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *DIVINE ENCOUNTER* *Failure has lost your address* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. I will like to start today by saying that you too will have a testimony of personal encounter with God by the power in the name of Jesus. Bro Cleopas and his friend went back to Jerusalem and ended up preaching what they were running away from. The story of the resurrection that got them scared is the same message that they were preaching after their return. There is always a big difference between what you were told and what you see, these men were told about the resurrection and they ran away but when they met the resurrected Christ their lives changed for the better, they became bold and fearless because of what they have ...

YOU ARE FAVOURED

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *YOU ARE FAVOURED*. *For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield*.  *Ps.5.12*  What a mighty God we serve 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 what a mighty God we serve 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 heaven and earth adore Him 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 Angels bow before Him 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 what a mighty God we serve 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 it is quiet unfortunate that we cannot thank this God enough but thank God for God and for been God. Beloved i pray for you and with you that the Almighty God that we serve will have mercy on you and favour you and surround you with favour as a shield by the power in the name of Jesus. May He so surround you with favour that anything coming to you will transform into favour by the power in the name of Jesus  May this favour carry the oil of attraction to begin to attract good things into your life, business, carrier ...

PROCRASTINATION IS THE THIEF OF TIME

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *PROCRASTINATION IS THE THIEF OF TIME* *You are blessed* *I enjoyed His presence today hope you did? Praise God* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  *Lk 24:32-33*. Bro Cleopas and his friend returned to Jerusalem that night and found the eleven together, meaning that they were the only ones that ran away and now that they have come back and met others what do you think will be their reaction? To some of us we will feel no need to return because of shame and mockery. There are many of us out there who were once Christians but today they are no longer Christians and the desire and the hunger and the passion to go back t...

ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT* *You are lifted* *Hope you are ready to be in His presence tomorrow*? *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. Many of us has many ways of reacting to the word of God, many of us like bro Cleopas and his friend will always harden our hearts even when our hearts choose to burn within us whenever such a message is going on especially when the word that we are hearing challenges our comfort and our way of life. When bro Cleopas and his friend talked about heart burning within them they were actually not saying that there was fire in their hearts or that there was a burning sensation within...

OPEN UP TO JESUS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *OPEN UP TO JESUS* *Your hands will continue to attract blessings* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. We have decided to take a look at what happened to bro Cleopas and his friend when Jesus met them on the way and talked with them according to their testimony, let us hear them again “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” Today we are going to be looking at what they meant when the said " did our hearts not burn within us" what does it mean for hearts to burn especially when the word of the Lord is head or preached? One of the th...
