*YOU TOO CAN BE BLESSED*.

*Thank God that it is Thursday because your star is already shinning*

*And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*.
*Luke.24.51*

The first time that i heard about "double portion" was when Elijah was about to be taken up to heaven and he asked his servant Elisha what he wanted and Elisha said a double portion of your spirit sir, and he gave him the condition on which he Elisha could get the blessing.

I don't know how Elisha knew what he knew because before they embarked on that journey Elijah begged him to stay behind that he was going to Bethel from Gilgal and Elisha refused to allow his master be, he was desirous of something and hoping to get it so he decided to follow until he gets it,

From Gilgal which means "rolling" he allowed all things to roll away out of his way of getting the blessing, beloved, for you to get the blessing there are some things that needs to be rolled away and one of which is the spirit of uncertainty, for me it is stronger than doubt, uncertainty tells you that you can get it but that you cannot trust he giver to give to you even when he can give it to you cheaply.

He rolled away fear, yes i said fear because of the master will be taken from him so how is he going to stand alone, how was he going to meet the expectations of the people whom his master has been ministering to all these while, supposing he fail them?

He rolled away weakness and mounted on the wings of strength, he did not think of how to get there, you may say that Elijah was going there too, right? But Elijah waa not coming back so how will he be able to come back after the journey and as a matter of fact the destination was not known so he didn't know how far there were going to go.

I may not know what you have rolled back and decided to follow God and it seemed like the waiting is endless without God blessing but child of God hear me, as long as the blessing is certain the timing is immaterial because a day of God's blessing can cover for a hundred years of journey. The most important thing is that you must be blessed.

I pray for you and with you that you will not lack the strength to succeed especially when it is time to be blessed by the power in the name of Jesus.
