*GENERATIONAL BLESSING*

*Divine protection is upon you*

*And He led them out as far as Bethany, and He lifted up His hands and blessed them*. 
*Lk 24:50*.

There are things in life that should never be taken for granted some of which is the wish of a dying father, the advise of a dying father and the blessings of a dying father. As normal as they may sound they carry something that are mostly generational 

Let us take a look at some of them, when Abraham wanted to die he made a wish and compelled his servant to make sure that he carries it to the later even to the point of making sure that the servant takes an oath to proof to him that he must do it.

When Isaac wanted to die he sent for his first son and told him that he wants to pass on but that he will not do that until he blessed him and so he told him what to do so as to get it but unfortunately his younger bro took the blessing before he arrived because his younger brother knows that importance of such blessing.

Because of that blessing we talk today of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob instead of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Esau. "The blessing" and when Jacob wanted to die too he blessed the sons of Joseph that is why Jacob has a double portion of the fathers blessing. 

One thing common with good fathers is that they try as much as they can to bless their children before they exit and you remember that God told us that if we who are evil knows how to give our children good gifts what of our father in heaven? If men can go to that extent to bless their children because they are leaving them what of Jesus that is God? 

The good news is that Jesus did not just bless them and make them a blessing but uses them as a point of contact to release generational blessings upon the earth and you and i are beneficiaries of such blessings. All you need to do is to get connected to Jesus so as to be part of those blessed by Him.

I pray for you and with you that anything stopping you from being blessed comes to an end today by the power in the name of Jesus.

*And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*.
*Luke.24.51*

Are you seeing what am seeing? Let me quickly tell you before i forget or move forward bro Luke said that while He was blessing them He was parted from them and i saw that the blessing was never ended before He left them that is to say that He is still releasing the blessing till now.

He raised his hands in blessing them and till now He has not brought down the hands which means that he is still blessing you and i and that is the part that i love most because i love to be blessed always and that is what Jesus is doing for you and i.

The bible made us to understand that He was doing that when He went to heaven meaning that He did not leave us alone, He left us with something and not just something like any other thing but something precious which is the blessing.

We have been made to understand that the blessings of God makes one rich and adds no sorrow meaning that Jesus was leaving us with something that will make us happy at all times, something that will always makes us fortunate in all situations of life and something cost us nothing but attracts everything good to 
The blessing of the LORD makes one rich, And He adds no sorrow with it. Prov.10.22 

Another reason why Jesus had to bless us through them is to praise God, yes you heard right, God does not bless us to take the glory but to give Him praise through whatever means we have been blessed and finally God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to our brothers and sisters.
I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. Gen.12.2.

I pray for you and with you that every accusation in the realm of the spirit concerning be over ruled with blood of Jesus by the power in the name Jesus.
