*DIVINE ENCOUNTER*

*Failure has lost your address*

*Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*.
*Lk 24:24-35*.

I will like to start today by saying that you too will have a testimony of personal encounter with God by the power in the name of Jesus. Bro Cleopas and his friend went back to Jerusalem and ended up preaching what they were running away from. The story of the resurrection that got them scared is the same message that they were preaching after their return.

There is always a big difference between what you were told and what you see, these men were told about the resurrection and they ran away but when they met the resurrected Christ their lives changed for the better, they became bold and fearless because of what they have encountered.

One thing about divine encounter is that it changes how you see Christ and His mission, it changes how you respond to the gospel and it changes how you see things. Whenever there is a divine encounter it makes you to see things not the way you used to see them before but how Christ sees them

When there is a divine encounter you preach what you see by encounter and not what Papa says or what mama says, you preach not to please anyone but to please the one whom you have encountered. When there is a divine encounter you shift from story telling to experience sharing.

Bro Cleopas and his friend had the kind of encounter that is superior to revelation and vision, they had personal meeting with Jesus such that Jesus had to open the scriptures to them and to break Himself for them because he is the bread of life. The encounter they had gave them a new life, not the life of fear that they had before but the life of righteousness and power.

I pray for you and with you that you will have an encounter that will change your life for good and not just with God but also with your destiny helpers before the end of this week by the power in name of Jesus.
