*HE GAVE HIS ALL*

*Continue to shine unabated*

*Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*.
*Lk 24:24-35*.

Are you surprised that Jesus had to make Himself known to them at the breaking of bread? That is the extend to which Jesus would go in order to save a soul, after speaking to them and opening them up to the scriptures He still went ahead to make Himself known to them by breaking the bread for them.

Bro Cleopas and his friend told us that it was at the breaking of the bread that Jesus made Himself known to them "and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*" what we are trying to look at here is why Jesus had to break the bread because He would have given it to them without breaking it.

Let us start from the what happened on the way, on the way Jesus opened the scriptures to them and you and i know that Jesus is the "word" so if Jesus is the word it follows that He was opening Himself to them but not as Jesus but as the word which is the major way of knowing God in order words he was teaching how to draw near to Him 
*In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God*. *John.1.1*

When they could not understand what He meant and was still doubting because even when their hearts was burning within them they refuses to surrender hence Jesus has to open Himself up again for them to eat Him
*And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, "Take, eat; this is My body*." *Mark.14.22* 

This gesture does not show me how much Jesus loves us but it goes a long way to show me in practical terms how much Jesus is ready to give not just His word to us but His all. Jesus did not spare anything to make sure that they were saved even if it means giving Himself.

I pray for you and with you that any Goliath that is troubling the peace of your life will receive the stone of death now by the power in the name of Jesus.
