*THE BLESSING MAKES THE DIFFERENCE*.

*They will watch you celebrate*

*And it occurred that while He was blessing them, He parted from them and was taken up into heaven*.
*Luke.24.51*

We have decided to take a look at how Elijah was taken up so that we took can learn one or two things about how to get the blessing because the way Elijah was taken up and released the mantle on Elisha is the same way Jesus was taken up and released the blessing upon you and i, the only difference is that our blessings is more superior to that of Elisha.

We said that they left Gilgal which means rolling to Bethel which means the house of God, for you and i want to get the blessing we need to allow certain things that will not allow us to enter the house of God to roll away from our lives so that when we enter the house of God we will not be distracted or doubt the presence and the ability of God.

Did you remember the case of bro Cleopas and his friend when they were running away from the church(brethren) and Jesus had to go after them because they needed to belong before they can be part of the blessing. Remember what Elijah said to Elisha "if you can see me go" so you need to be far so that you can see him go and be part of those to be blessed.

Do you know that when they got to Bethel that Elisha had the major challenge of his life? Are you doubting me? Ok let me tell you what i mean, do you know that it was in Bethel that the other sons of the prophets starting discouraging and laughing at Elisha on why he was following Elijah?

They reminded him that his master will be taken away and choose not to follow and mocked Elisha for following so the news of Elijah been talking away was not a secret one but only the one that choose to follow to the end gets the blessing. Are they mocking you for going to church? They know that there is blessing in the church and choose not to be part of it and they don't want you to be part of it either hence they mock you just to stop you.

They must have reminded him of those that followed before and were not blessed, they must have told him that Elijah was a stingy man that will not bless anyone and they must have told him that the journey is far and that he cannot make it but he choose to follow anyway my dear do not look at the mockery of men if you truly want to be blessed.

I pray for you and with you that those that mocked you will witness the glory of God upon your life by the power in the name of Jesus
