*BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER*

*Favour is your new identity*

*Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*.
*Lk 24:24-35*.


Jesus met bro Cleopas and his friend in a state of fear and despair and refused to leave them in that condition to the point that when the opening of scriptures seemed to fail He has to take them further to breaking of bread because Jesus can meet you the way you are but will not leave you the way He met you. Amen!!!

Jesus opened the scriptures to them and they refused to succumb even when the message was burning their hearts within them yet they refused to give in but Jesus on His part also refused to give up on them and so Jesus met their resistance with His persistence even into the breaking of bread.

He tried to establish a friendship with them and when it did not work He took it to the next level by establishing a relationship with them remember that a family that eats together stays together. It was in their staying toge that they discovered that this is love and love conquers all. With love Jesus conquered.

When Jesus succeeded in establishing a relationship with them His breaking of the bread became something we can call a family reunion and you and i know that "blood is thicker than water" then there was a bidding force bidding them together which is called love especially the type that exists in families.

You and i know that love can do anything for the loved, having shown them how much He loved them they could not hold their own love back and so they had to reciprocate the love that has been shown to them. We love Jesus because he loved us first.

May Christ the cornerstone crush every Goliath on your way and in your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
