*ALWAYS GIVE THANKS*

*Tomorrow is Sunday go to church and be blessed*

*Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*.
*Lk 24:24-35*.

From the account of bro Cleopas and his friend we have seen that Jesus is always opens up to us through the Scripture so we can understand Him better from there He establishes a relationships with us so we can become family. then He breaks Himself so we can be saved making us to understand that He doesn’t spare anything. Not His teaching, not His body, not His life just to birth our salvation.

Many of us too who are saved have spent so much time in church and fellowships but have never recognised Jesus even in the breaking of bread because it has become a routine and a "church thing" for us. Sometimes we walk miles with Jesus and don’t recognise Him. Until we stop to reflect on the journey and evaluate our walk whether with or without Jesus we will never recognise Him.

Most times familiarity keeps us away from recognising Jesus even at the table of the breaking of bread. Do you not know that the table of the breaking of bread is the table of thanksgiving? When Jesus took the bread He gave thanks. If Jesus as God gives thanks what of you?

The disciples walked a long journey to Emmaus welcomed Jesus into their lives and went to table with him and it was after giving thanks that the bread was broken. Do you know that many of us believers hardly give thanks yet complain of everything? While some of us cling to entitlement mentality, blaming God for what He has not done but never thank Him for what He has done.

The breaking of bread is done at the communion table or is called communion table because it is where we met one another in love. It is where we come together as family and share our family bond. It is a place where the weak are helped by the strong and where family mater is discussed. It is a place relationship is appreciated and valued.

I pray for you and with you that the source of your blessings will never run dry by the power in the name of Jesus.
