ALWAYS GIVE THANKS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *ALWAYS GIVE THANKS* *Tomorrow is Sunday go to church and be blessed* *By his wounds you are healed* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. From the account of bro Cleopas and his friend we have seen that Jesus is always opens up to us through the Scripture so we can understand Him better from there He establishes a relationships with us so we can become family. then He breaks Himself so we can be saved making us to understand that He doesn’t spare anything. Not His teaching, not His body, not His life just to birth our salvation. Many of us too who are saved have spent so much time in church and fellowships but have never recognised Jesus even in the breaking of bread because it has become a routine ...

BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *BLOOD IS THICKER THAN WATER* *Favour is your new identity* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Jesus met bro Cleopas and his friend in a state of fear and despair and refused to leave them in that condition to the point that when the opening of scriptures seemed to fail He has to take them further to breaking of bread because Jesus can meet you the way you are but will not leave you the way He met you. Amen!!! Jesus opened the scriptures to them and they refused to succumb even when the message was burning their hearts within them yet they refused to give in but Jesus on His part also refused to give up on them and so Jesus met their resistance with His persistence even into the breaking of bread. ...

*FAITH NUGGETS* (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *HE GAVE HIS ALL* *You are the next in line for a miracle* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Bro Cleopas and his friend told us how Jesus started from Moses and the prophets and expounded the scriptures to them and how He made Himself known to them at the breaking of the bread and we saw that Jesus gave all to them to birth their salvation. Jesus met them where they were and rook them deeper into relationship and fellowship with Him. He started by giving them the word which is Himself and then went ahead to break the bread which is Himself making Himself available to everyone. He broke Himself so that He can reach everyone and so that He can go round. He broke the bread for them because they needed energy for the journey, the journey of life and the journey of fa

HE GAVE HIS ALL

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *HE GAVE HIS ALL* *Continue to shine unabated* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. Are you surprised that Jesus had to make Himself known to them at the breaking of bread? That is the extend to which Jesus would go in order to save a soul, after speaking to them and opening them up to the scriptures He still went ahead to make Himself known to them by breaking the bread for them. Bro Cleopas and his friend told us that it was at the breaking of the bread that Jesus made Himself known to them "and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*" what we are trying to look at here is why Jesus had to break the bread because He would have given it to them without breaking it. Let us start fro...

DIVINE ENCOUNTER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *DIVINE ENCOUNTER* *Failure has lost your address* *Saying, “The Lord is risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!” And they told about the things that had happened on the road, and how He was known to them in the breaking of bread*. *Lk 24:24-35*. I will like to start today by saying that you too will have a testimony of personal encounter with God by the power in the name of Jesus. Bro Cleopas and his friend went back to Jerusalem and ended up preaching what they were running away from. The story of the resurrection that got them scared is the same message that they were preaching after their return. There is always a big difference between what you were told and what you see, these men were told about the resurrection and they ran away but when they met the resurrected Christ their lives changed for the better, they became bold and fearless because of what they have ...

YOU ARE FAVOURED

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *YOU ARE FAVOURED*. *For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield*.  *Ps.5.12*  What a mighty God we serve 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 what a mighty God we serve 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 heaven and earth adore Him 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 Angels bow before Him 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 what a mighty God we serve 🎵 🎵 🎵 🎶 🎶 🎶 it is quiet unfortunate that we cannot thank this God enough but thank God for God and for been God. Beloved i pray for you and with you that the Almighty God that we serve will have mercy on you and favour you and surround you with favour as a shield by the power in the name of Jesus. May He so surround you with favour that anything coming to you will transform into favour by the power in the name of Jesus  May this favour carry the oil of attraction to begin to attract good things into your life, business, carrier ...

PROCRASTINATION IS THE THIEF OF TIME

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *PROCRASTINATION IS THE THIEF OF TIME* *You are blessed* *I enjoyed His presence today hope you did? Praise God* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  *Lk 24:32-33*. Bro Cleopas and his friend returned to Jerusalem that night and found the eleven together, meaning that they were the only ones that ran away and now that they have come back and met others what do you think will be their reaction? To some of us we will feel no need to return because of shame and mockery. There are many of us out there who were once Christians but today they are no longer Christians and the desire and the hunger and the passion to go back t...

ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *ALLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT* *You are lifted* *Hope you are ready to be in His presence tomorrow*? *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. Many of us has many ways of reacting to the word of God, many of us like bro Cleopas and his friend will always harden our hearts even when our hearts choose to burn within us whenever such a message is going on especially when the word that we are hearing challenges our comfort and our way of life. When bro Cleopas and his friend talked about heart burning within them they were actually not saying that there was fire in their hearts or that there was a burning sensation within...

OPEN UP TO JESUS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *OPEN UP TO JESUS* *Your hands will continue to attract blessings* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. We have decided to take a look at what happened to bro Cleopas and his friend when Jesus met them on the way and talked with them according to their testimony, let us hear them again “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” Today we are going to be looking at what they meant when the said " did our hearts not burn within us" what does it mean for hearts to burn especially when the word of the Lord is head or preached? One of the th...

MIND YOUR MIND

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *MIND YOUR MIND* *Forward ever is your lot henceforth* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. Na wa ooooo for bro Cleopas and his friend, did you hear what they said? Let me show you " "And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” you see no matter how hard you try to hide the truth your conscience will always betray you. They tried as much as they could while Jesus was talking with them and opening the scriptures to them to harden their heart from hearing the word of God but the more they were trying the more their consci...

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *KNOWLEDGE IS POWER* *You are healed in Jesus name* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  *Lk 24:32-33*. I love what Jesus did to bro Cleopas and his friend, he did not force Himself on them, He did introduce Himself to them to avoid people saying that it was because it was Jesus that talked to them personally that is why they believed but He gave them the word( the source of all things) and allowed them to respond in their own way. Each and everyone of us has our unique ways of responding to the gospel, to some it is a scam to others it is one of those things and to some it is the work of jobless individuals but to those who would ...

BE WITH JESUS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *BE WITH JESUS* *Receive the grace for boldness* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. We saw the other day that the word of God which was preached to bro Cleopas and his friend made them to leave Emmaus even in the night and return to where there were running away from and we said that the word of God brings faith and that faith destroys fear so today we will be looking at it from another dimension. When the apostles started preaching after the pentecost the around them observed something and that thing that they observed is one of the reasons bro Cleopas and his friend ran back to Jerusalem even in the night and what ...

BE WITH JESUS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *BE WITH JESUS* *Receive the Spirit of boldness* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. Bro Cleopas and his friend went back that night because Jesus did something to them and that which He did was to give them the word. Bro Paul told us that we can be commended to the word and that the word which we are commended to has the power and the capacity to build us up in faith.. "*So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified*. *Acts.20.32*  By giving them the word Jesus was commending them to G...

UNDER GRACE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *UNDER GRACE* *His grace will take away disgrace from you* *Don't forget to be in His presence tomorrow for His present* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. Bro Cleopas and his friend went back that night because Jesus did something to them and that which He did was to give them the word. Bro Paul told us that we can be commended to the word and that the word which we are commended to has the power and the capacity to build us up in faith.. FEARLESS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *FEARLESS* *The Lord is your strength dear* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. It is said that "to discover is to recover" which means that without discovery recovery will not be in view, these men Cleopas and his friend discovered something and what they discovered was bigger than what was pursuing them. What they discovered showed them how minute what was pursuing them was and so they decided to go for it. Let me quickly remind us of what bro Paul said in his letter to the people of Rome, he said and i quote, "So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" Rom 10:17. It was because Jesus...

THE RETURN

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *THE RETURN* *"Touch not" as a command working for you* *And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” So they rose up that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together*,  Lk 24:32-33. Wait a minute, were these not the men that were so afraid that they had to run away from Jerusalem? Were they not the ones that just told Jesus not to go any further that it is getting night already? How come that they now hit the road by a later part of the night and how come that they suddenly decided to go back to Jerusalem where they had just run away from? What gave these men the boldness to return to Jerusalem? Had they forgotten so soon the report of the women that put them on the run? What did Jesus do to them t...

A GODLY MISTAKE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *A GODLY MISTAKE* *Receive answers to your prayers today* Then they drew near to the village where they were going, and He indicated that He would have gone farther. 29 But they constrained Him, saying, “Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent.” And He went in to stay with them. Lk 24:28-29. Let me start by saying that no matter how far one has gone from Jesus that the hands of Jesus are long enough to bring the person back to Himself and that the mercy of God is inexhaustible that it can forgive any kind of sin no matter how bad it is or how people or society sees it. The mercy of God made these men to make such a godly mistake that saw them return to grace. These men were so fearful that they had to run away even in the evening and they were so fearful not to go further but something striking happaned as they were making the journey, a stran...

CALL IT WHAT IT IS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *CALL IT WHAT IT IS* *Divine speed is on your side* *Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see*.” *Lk 24:22-24*. Did you hear what bro Cleopas said about what the women saw and what the men confirmed? Did the women tell them that they saw a vision? Because i believe that if the women had called it a vision the men wouldn't have gone to see it because a vision is not something you verify but. So why did they call it a vision when it is not a vision? They called it a vision because they were already been intimidated by the news because they were hiding from what just happened and these women had ...

PHARAOH MUST LET YOU GO

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *PHARAOH MUST LET YOU GO*. *Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go in to Pharaoh and tell him, ‘Thus says the Lord God of the Hebrews: “Let My people go, that they may serve Me*.  *Ex 9:1*. We continue to express our appreciation and thanksgiving to this wonderful God that has chosen to continue to bless us day in day out not on account of any merit of ours but out of His benevolence and magnanimity to Him alone be all the glory for ages unending in Jesus name. Child of God today i come aggressively to agree with you in faith that any Pharaoh that has held you bound or whatever that belongs to you and has continuously, consistently and adamantly refuse to let you go that by the power that is in the name of Jesus that they let you go now in Jesus name. Anything belonging to you that is still under the control of any Pharaoh anywhere by fire and by thunder may it be released ...

STOP CONTRACTING YOURSELF

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *STOP CONTRACTING YOURSELF* *Divine speed is on your side* *Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see*.” *Lk 24:22-24*. It is said that a life of sacrifice without sacrifice is a contradiction, can you imagine that these men were following Jesus without any attempt to make any form of sacrifice for Him, all that they were interested in was the redemption of Israel and as long as Jesus was multiplying bread and dish for them they were good to go. I sincerely agree with them that Jesus was to redeem Israel but my question to bro Cleopas and his friend is, having known that Jesus was to redeem Isr...

DON'T GO FOR LION SHARE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *DON'T GO FOR LION SHARE* *From today you will keep rising until cross your peak* *HOPE YOU WILL BE IN HIS PRESENCE TOMORROW* *Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see*.” *Lk 24:22-24*. Let us takes a look at what these men were up to, these were the men that were seeking to sit at the right and left hand side of Jesus, these were men that wanted to call down thunder when Jesus was restricted from entering a particular area and these were men that some of them promised to die with Jesus if need be but here they are running when nothing was pursuing them. Let us consider the following in the ac...

IT TAKES THE RESULT TO CANCEL THE INSULT

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *IT TAKES THE RESULT TO CANCEL THE INSULT* *From today, money will meet money in your hands* *Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see*.” *Lk 24:22-24*. Today i want us to critically examine bro Cleopas and his friend from their statement because the way they were so astounded keeps me worried because i believe that with the evidence that they had they would have been able to put themselves together because it takes the result to cancel the insult. From their first statement they agreed with the women that his body was no longer in the grave which is a proof that he has risen because it was au...

THE WORST MISTAKE EVER MADE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *THE WORST MISTAKE EVER MADE* *Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see*.” *Lk 24:22-24*. Whenever you hear that good news is making someone to be scared please don't look too far know that bro Cleopas and his friend are the originators of that action, bro Cleopas said that they heard that Jesus has risen and as such they were astounded and they began to run a to a distant country. May what is meant for your good not scare you in the name of Jesus. Bro Cleopas were running away from something that was supposed to make the rejoice, something they were supposed to embrace, they were running away from somethi...
