*DON'T GO FOR LION SHARE*

*From today you will keep rising until cross your peak* *HOPE YOU WILL BE IN HIS PRESENCE TOMORROW*

*Yes, and certain women of our company, who arrived at the tomb early, astonished us. When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive. And certain of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said; but Him they did not see*.”
*Lk 24:22-24*.

Let us takes a look at what these men were up to, these were the men that were seeking to sit at the right and left hand side of Jesus, these were men that wanted to call down thunder when Jesus was restricted from entering a particular area and these were men that some of them promised to die with Jesus if need be but here they are running when nothing was pursuing them.

Let us consider the following in the actions of bro Cleopas and his friend. First of all let us establish the fact they their life was not under threat because nobody was after them they were after only Jesus and has done their worst, them being under threat was a figment of their imagination as nobody touched them for the three days that Jesus was in the grave and nobody came for them or threatened them.

These men needed a Lion share of what Jesus has to offer but they had a chicken heart and there is no way you can have a chicken heart and expect a Lion share. You must have a Lion's heart to have a Lion share. You can't be a coward and expect to have a Lion's share. You must be courageous enough like a Lion that turns back from none to have a Lion share.

These men lacked the courage to face what was on ground, these men could not go to the grave to verify the resurrection like others did but they were expecting a Lion's share, these men ran from what is not dangerous which they see as danger, these men were not courageous enough to face good news not to talk of danger.

This is the position of many of us, many of us wants to make heaven but no one wants to make sacrifice and many of us don't want to work for it rather we want it on a platter of gold, do you know that many of us walk out of church because when they were sick nobody came to visit them, many stopped going to church because they were asked to change sit or some were asked to wait before entering the church maybe because of what the church was doing then and they walk out of the church.

Many of the excuses that many have as the reason why they don't go to church is because they have a chicken heart yet want to get God's power(Lion share), you cannot eat your cake and have it sir,if you need a Lion's share then be bold enough to witness for Jesus, he bold enough to identify with Jesus in all circumstances and be bold enough to celebrate Jesus in thick and thin.

I pray for you and with you that whatever that looks like affliction will never find expression in our life by the power in the name of Jesus.
