O LORD, RESTORE ME.

*LET US PRAY* *O LORD, RESTORE ME.* *He restores my soul, He leads me in the paths of righteousness, For His name's sake*.  *Ps 23:3*. I join you and your family to thank God for the blessings of November and for making it through the month of November. I thank God for you even as i congratulate you in Jesus name. The God that has been leading us from January till now will continue to lead us in the path of prosperity, peace and joy and lead us through this year and beyond in the name of Jesus. Every blessing that God has prepared for us in this year that we have not enjoy may He restore all to is now in the name of Jesus. Every blessing that eluded us, every blessing that was diverted and every blessing that was hijacked we call them forth now and receive all of them in the name of Jesus. Whatever that will cause is harm, pain or loss shall not see the month of December with us and any attempt to cross over with us will cause them their lives in name of Jesus. As we are about to e...

MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT7

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT7* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. On Sunday we looked at the the importance of prayer and today we want to go further into the life and activities of these people that they met at the waterside. The another thing that is worth looking into apart from the fact that they prayed and made it a custom the next thing that happened was that they sat down to teach them the word. They were not gathering for gathering sake but for a purpose, Sitting down speaks of welcoming the message, sitting down is a sign of a waiting for the move of the Holy Spirit, it speaks of the readiness of the people to listen to them and ultimately it speaks of the people's desire to let every other thing to go if and only if they can hear the word of God. Amen!!! These people are a people of fellowship, They were also a peo...

MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT6

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT6* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. The other day we talked about prayer and today we will looking at the importance of prayer because for these people to make it a custom they must have found something. Prayer gets us closer to God. Like we said earlier prayer is not a monologue but a dialogue so when we commune with God in the place of prayer we are drawn nearer and closer to God. There is no better way of building relationship other than communication so prayer is an excellent way of getting closer to God. Reduce anxiety and experience calm. St Paul admonished us to always remain calm at all times that if there is anything that we need that we must make it known to God in prayer and thanksgiving. Eph 4:6. Increase gratitude and thankfulness. Gratitude is the key to open the gates of heaven as such...

YOU WILL NOT DIE

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *YOU WILL NOT DIE*. *He will swallow up death forever,And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken*.  *Is 25:8*. Once and again we welcome another beautiful week that the Lord has made for us to rejoice and be glad and so to Him alone be all the glory both now and forever in Jesus name Amen. In this new week i stand with you in agreement and pray with you that this week, this month, and the remaining part of this year will never see your end and that of your loved ones in Jesus name. The cry and sound of death shall not be heard in your household and death shall not be celebrated in your family in this season and beyond and i pray that anyone that wants you dead will die in your place in the name of Jesus. Your name and that of your loved ones are deleted permanently from the list of those to die prematurely. You shall not die but live to declare the wo...

MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT5

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT5* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. We were told that they prayed customarily which makes one to begin to ask certain questions like. What makes prayer so important that they must pray and not just pray but make it a custom? Today we we will be looking at prayer and why it is very important in our lives. First and foremost what is prayer? For me as a person not as an authority I would like to define prayer thus. Prayer is the believe in the existence of God and His almightiness and the willingness to submit to his Lordship and trust in His ability to provide whatever you can ask for or desire from him and believing that He will do it. The catechism of the Catholic Church defines prayer as the lifting up of our hearts and mind towards God. Prayer a belief in the personality and supremacy of God, his ...

MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT4

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT4* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. Yesterday we looked at the riverside and we tried to see that it was a matter of settlement not that they went to the river to do another thing. Today we will be looking at what they did by the riverside. The bible made us to understand that they prayed there and that was their custom to do that. They prayed because they knew the importance of prayer. They prayed because they needed God's intervention in their lives. They prayed because they recognised the place of God in their lives. We were also told that prayer was their custom. It means that it is something that they do often. The frequency was so much that it has to become part of them so these people are a people that never played with the Sabbath and prayers. To say that it is a custom amongst them is to...

MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT3

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT3* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. Yesterday we were looking at the importance of keeping the Sabbath day holy and why we should see it as what it really is. "A day to be hollowed" according to the commandment of the Lord. Today we will be looking at "the riverside" The riverside here does not mean going to the river to pray or to bath ot to work prayer or do the work that prayer cannot do or even to bath so that sickness and desease will nolonger be in your body. No. Riverside here speaks of a community the live along the river bank. This emphasis has become necessary so that you don't go to the river tomorrow to pray or to do one or two things all in the name of prayer because you saw "riverside" in the bible. Riverside here does not in anyway mean that God and th...

MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT2

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT2* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. We started looking at making prayer and fellowship a habit yesterday and today we will continue to look at it.  The journey to the waterside was made on a sabbath day and they were not found in the the hotel with women, not in their community meeting, not in a special occasion organized by one influential man or woman in the community but they were found in a place of prayer. In our day many of us have turned sabbath day to so many things. Sabbath day in our day has become a day when we do all odd jobs. We carry our office work home to be done on a sabbath day because we won't go to the office and as a matter of fact we do more at home than we do in the office on a sabbath day. Many of us go late to the church and sometimes don't even attend church on a sab...

*FAITH NUGGET* *MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT* *And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*. We thank God for leading us thus far in our spiritual check up series and today we trust that his inspiration and grace will continue to be with us, to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ever think of or imagine be glory and praise both now and forever. Today we will continue to reflect on Paul's missionary journey in the region of mecedonia and today we will be looking at how he entered the place where prayer was customarily made. St st Paul made us to understand that they made prayer. They didn't pray prayer. They didn't work prayer like most of our prophet of these days do rather they made prayer. Something made is something well thought of, planned and executed and the bible said that it was customary of them. That is to ...

SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT50

*FAITH NUGGET* *SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT50* *Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*.  *Acts 16:6-10*. Still on why the Holy Spirit mandated them to go to mecedonia we are still looking at the beauty and glory of being together in love and unity. *When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting*. *Acts 2:...

We started looking at what made God to mandate Paul and Barnabas to move to mecedonian church and we listed three items as the possible reasons. We were led to know the following. Where two or three are gathered 1. In the name of the Lord. 2. In one accord 3. And in love God is always interested in such meetings. Let see! Today we will continue to buttress that fact ...

One thing that we must look at here is extension of this knowledge because it is one thing to kno...
