*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT42*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

In part 30 of this series of our faith nuggets we looked at why we need the presence of God and since then we have been looking at it from the first part which is "in your presence there is fullness of joy" and we have been looking at what it means to have fullness of joy and today we will be looking at the next part which is "at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore".

*You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Ps 16:11*.

Today we will be looking at what it means to say that "At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore". The "right hand" is seen as a place of honor and status throughout the scriptures and it does not come by just ascending the hills of the Lord but by doing righteousness.

I believe that you have not forgotten the conditions that king David gave us as a criteria for ascending the hills of the Lord? Anyway let me refresh your memory by reminding you that they are 1. clean hands. 2. pure heart. 3. Not serving idols. 4. Not swearing deceitfully.

To be at the right hand of God is to be in right standing with God. It entails doing what is right not anyhow things. It entails standing for what is right even if you have to stand alone. It means giving God what is right and not what is left.

Have heard of "right hand man" to be a right hand man of anybody is to say that you must be a trustworthy person. You must be a man or woman of integrity as such for you to be at the right hand or side of God you and i must be people of integrity and must be trustworthiness.

Do you want pleasure that is not for a while or for sometime but forevermore? Strive to be God's right hand man or woman. Strive to always do what is right and always give God what is right and not what is left like Cain.

I pray for you today that all things will work together for your good so that you will continually find pleasures in time and ultimately in eternity and that whatever that has been working against your pleasure or that will want to work against your pleasure ceases to exit today in Jesus name Amen.
