*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT43*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*.

Yesterday we said that what it takes to be God's own right hand man that it requires character and integrity and yesterday we looked at character and today by the help of the Holy Spirit we will be looking at integrity.

Integrity is the quality of being honest and fair. In our generation many of us have jettisoned honesty and fairness because our society lack those virtues.

Integrity is the state of being complete or whole. It is to be entirely who you say you are.
Integrity is said to be who you are when nobody is there. Integrity is who you are when you are not under compulsion to do what is right. When you do what is right with wrong mindset is not morally right and you lacks integrity.

Integrity is from the word integral which means essential and completeness. It comprises of the entire, unimpaired state of any thing, particularly of the mind.

It speaks of moral soundness or purity, it essentially has to do with incorruptness, uprightness and honesty. Integrity comprehends the whole moral character, but has a special reference to uprightness in mutual dealings.

To be a man or woman of integrity is to say that nothing outside or around you can influence you negatively. What you hear or what others do does not or cannot influence you negatively.

Are you a man or woman of integrity? How do you allow what you hear or see affect you? Can you be proud of who you are and what you stand for? Remember that it is only a man or woman of integrity that can be the right hand man or woman of God.

I pray for you today that any weapon that has been formed or will be formed to bring shame or disgrace to your life or family in this season may the God of heaven send it back to sender and honour you with fame and grace in Jesus name Amen.
