*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT41*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

Still on what awaits us on the hill (mountain) of the Lord on why we should ascend the hill of the Lord today we will continue our discussion from what prophet Isaiah told us.

*And in this mountain The Lord of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. And He will destroy on this mountain. The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. Is 25:6-8*.

We continue from where we stopped yesterday. Yesterday we were told that 1. The Lord Himself will be the one to prepare the meal. 2. That it is for all people 3. And that it is a choice meal. Today let us find out more.

It is a feast. Wow, a feast? Let us first of all see what a feast is. To feast is to entertain with sumptuous provisions; to treat at the table magnificently. Do you remember your experience of Christmas when you were young and the expectation of it? That will help you understand little what it means to feast.

A feast speaks of a ceremony of joy and thanksgiving on stated days, in commemoration of some great event, or in honor of some distinguished personality like you and i. It also speaks of celebration of some special event; a festival, as on occasion of feast of tabernacles among the Jews hence he used feast because the Jews knows what it means to feast.

Feast speaks of enjoyment without end. Happiness unlimited, it also entails being in your best apparels, meeting friends and being met by friends. Meeting of friends, neighbours and relatives that one have missed awhile.

Can you see what awaits anyone that can ascend the hills of the Lord? Will you be there? Are you ready? Have you washed your hands clean? What of your garment are they white as snow? If not you have the opportunity now to wash in the pool of the blood of Jesus now because not to be there is nothing but self maltreatment of unquantifiable magnitude.

I pray that you will not miss out in this bouquet and that as you partake of His bouquet here on earth I pray that it will prepare you for the eternal bouquet in heaven in Jesus name.
