*MAKE PRAYER AND FELLOWSHIP A HABIT PT3*

*And on the Sabbath day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made; and we sat down and spoke to the women who met there. Acts 16:13*.

Yesterday we were looking at the importance of keeping the Sabbath day holy and why we should see it as what it really is. "A day to be hollowed" according to the commandment of the Lord. Today we will be looking at "the riverside"

The riverside here does not mean going to the river to pray or to bath ot to work prayer or do the work that prayer cannot do or even to bath so that sickness and desease will nolonger be in your body. No. Riverside here speaks of a community the live along the river bank.

This emphasis has become necessary so that you don't go to the river tomorrow to pray or to do one or two things all in the name of prayer because you saw "riverside" in the bible.

Riverside here does not in anyway mean that God and the goddess of the river are collaborating or that they are doing things together. For the records God has nothing to do with water goddess or marine spirits.

Am not saying that you cannot pray when go to the river to do the needful like fetching of water as God is everywhere and you can hear you anywhere.

What am saying is that God is the creator of all things and that you cannot give the glory that is for the creator to His creatures and that God does not contend with anything for anything.

Have you been to the river for spiritual bath or cleansing or to make sacrifices to the river? Does the fear of big rivers like ocean and seas make you to worship them? You can repent of them all now. Remember that all created things are meant to show you the glory and magnificence of God so that you can give the glory to God not to the creature.

I pray for you today that any fear in your life that is making you to doubt the existence of God or making you not to have peace in your life and family. Today they are arrested and sent back to hell in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.
