*SPIRITUAL CHECK UP PT41*

*Now when they had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, "Come over to Macedonia and help us." Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them*. 
*Acts 16:6-10*.

We are still talking about the benefits of ascending the hill(mountain) of the Lord and we are still looking at it from the dimension of what prophet Isaiah told us.

*And in this mountain The Lord of hosts will make for all people A feast of choice pieces, A feast of wines on the lees, Of fat things full of marrow, Of well-refined wines on the lees. And He will destroy on this mountain. The surface of the covering cast over all people, And the veil that is spread over all nations. He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth; For the Lord has spoken. Is 25:6-8*.

Today we will be looking at what he meant when he said "He will swallow up death forever, And the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces; The rebuke of His people He will take away from all the earth"

Prophet Isaiah in this context is not telling us that we will not die when he said that God will swallow up death forever, first of all he is telling us that when we ascend the hills of the Lord that we will not die anyhow and secondly that death will not be our end but a transition to an end which is eternal life.

When you ascend the hills of the Lord God wipes away your tears, he takes care of your worries and concerns. You can go to God the way you are but God will not allow you to leave the way you are. He takes away the burden and gives you rest. Those things that causes you tears He takes it away and gives you rest on all sides.

So no matter the nature of your tears or the cause of the tears this good and awesome God will wipe it away on the condition that you allow Him to do so for you this can be done by you ascending the hills of the Lord. Remember, "with clean hands and a pure heart"

When we ascend the hill of the Lord all the rebuke ( that we are not qualified, we don't deserve God, that God will not show us mercy,) of our adversary the devil and his agents are teken away from us and Christ is made our righteousness though only if we make up our mind to live righteously.

He concluded by saying "His people" are you part of the people of God? Or still deciding whether to be or not? Or waiting to be because of what you called enjoyment now? O! that today you hear his voice harden not your heart.

I pray for you that this good and all knowing God will wipe away all your tears and make affliction not to rise again in your life and family and may all those waiting, wishing and praying for you to die take your place in Jesus name.
