THE LORD HAS DONE IT AGAIN

*LET US PRAY* *(THANKSGIVING FOR THE MONTH)*. *THE LORD HAS DONE IT AGAIN*. *Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the LORD your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you-- The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month*.  *Joel.2.23*  To God be the glory great things He has done 🎡 🎡 🎡 🎢 🎢 🎢 so loved He the world that He gave us His son 🎡 🎡 🎡 🎢 🎢 🎢 who yielded His life and atonement for sin 🎡 🎡 🎡 🎢 🎢 🎢 and opened the wide gate 🎡 🎡 🎡 🎢 🎢 🎢 that all may go🎡🎡🎡🎢🎢🎢. To God who is, who was and will forever be, be the glory and praise both now and forever. Where do we start to thank this good and wonderful God for all that He keeps doing for us and for keeping us from the beginning of the year till now. To Him alone be all the glory and praise both now and forever by the power in the name of Jesus. ...

CONSISTENT IN LIES

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *CONSISTENT IN LIES* *Your cup of blessing is continually running over* *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen.3.1* I like the way the writer of the book of beginning (Genesis) introduced the devil, first of all he called him serpent and secondly he told us that it is in his nature to be cunning or crafty and that it was his nature that made him look like a serpent and apart from that he made us to understand also that the devil has no good intention for man. Come to think of it, if the devil has good intentions for man would he have come in the form of a serpent? Would he have been cunning or crafty to man? All these are a sign to shows that the devil never wanted any good for you and i. ...

THE LORD HEAR YOU WHEN YOU CRY

*LET US PRAY* *(PRAYER FOR THE WEEK)*. *THE LORD HEAR YOU WHEN YOU CRY*. *Hear the voice of my supplications When I cry to You, When I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary*.  *Ps 28:2*. JEALOUSY

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *JEALOUSY* *Happy Sunday beloved* *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen.3.1* The writer of the book of beginning(Genesis) introduced the devil in chapter three and he started by liking him to a cunning serpent that came to claim the dominion that God gave to man for me this is the height of jealousy and man fell for it because he could not discern the intent of the cunning serpent. From the introduction you will agree with me that the serpent was really and fully prepared to accomplish a purpose and the purpose is to make sure that man offends God so that what God has planned for man will be aborted. From the introduction we were told that the serpent was more cunning and some translati...

HE WAS CUNNING

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *HE WAS CUNNING* *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen.3.1* The author of the book of beginning(Genesis) giving us the story of creation started chapter three with a not too good introduction by how the subject was introduced. He told us that there was a serpent and that this serpent was more cunning than all other beasts of the Field.  He introduced the devil as a serpent and the very nature of the devil in the form of a serpent. He says that the serpent was more cunning than other beasts because it does not look like the other beasts in the field. It would have been enough for the beast to be cunning but this one went further to be more cunning in other words efforts were made to make sure that ma...

WE LOST IT

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (*DAILY DEVOTIONAL*) *WE LOST IT* *Continue to be fruitful* *Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, "You shall not eat of every tree of the garden*'?"  *Gen.3.1* The word Genesis simply means"beginning" and so we see that in the beginning(Genesis) chapter one we see that God created the heaven and the earth and in chapter two man as made and the chapter three we see the introduction of what should not be but came just to disrupt the plans of God for man. In chapter one verse two the enemy of God tried to stop God but God destroyed it exactly the way it came, it came in the form of darkness but it as frustrated and destroyed with light and in chapter three man that as created in the image and likeness of God used that privilege to help the enemy to destroy what has bee...

HE THAT HAS JESUS HAS ALL THINGS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *HE THAT HAS JESUS HAS ALL THINGS* *Your time is now* *The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him*."  *John.3.35-26* The father loves the son and gave him everything and to show how much the father loves us he gave us the one whom he has already given everything meaning that the love of the Father for us is incomparable and unimaginable it also means that to have Jesus is to have everything. *For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life*. *John.3.16*  Let me conclude this with a story and the story goes thus, there was once a rish man that has an only son and this man was so wealthy that he h...

TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL* *The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him*."  *John.3.35-26* Na wa ooooo uncle John the Baptist really went all out to give us all we need to know about Jesus so that not believing is at ones own peril and this kind of peril is not the normal one but the kind that has to do with the wrath of God in which there is no salvation anywhere. The bible made us to understand that it is a dangerous thing to fall into the hands of God and to avert this danger Uncle John the Baptist took time to tell us how to stay away from the wrath of God by telling us how much God love His son and gave his son to us so that His wrath will not be against us. *It is a terrible thing to fall into the hands of the l...

TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL* *Keep excelling*  *He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure*. *John.3.33-34*. Uncle John the Baptist here told us that God is true after telling us that Jesus came to give us a testimony of what He has seen in heaven reason being that He wants us to believe in God and the reason is that God is true. To say that God is true is to say that God is too faithful to fail, In as much as it is impossible for God to fail even if everything fails it follows that the testimony of Jesus does not require much evidence and for the avoidance of doubt Uncle John the Baptist had to go all out to prepare man for this so that the hearts of men can be prepared to receive the testimony of Jesus which is of God's faithfulness. This tes...

SAVED FROM TRAPS OF THE ENEMIES

PROJECT JESUS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *PROJECT JESUS* *You are an overcomer* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. There is another thing that uncle John the Baptist said that keeps me wondering and that is that "is above all" wait a minute how on earth did uncle get there? To humiliate himself in public all because of Jesus. The truth of the matter is that truth is truth no matter who said it and who is affected. Uncle John the Baptist knew that even if he had to hide the truth that some say that the truth which he hid will surely come out and if it does that the later shame will be worse than what people perceive as public humiliation. But uncle John the Baptist would have said "ab...

WEAR LOVE AS A GARMENT

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *WEAR LOVE AS A GARMENT* *Your access to favour is granted* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. It has become neccesary that we continue today's reflection by looking inward because uncle John the Baptist that made that statement that we are studying is a man that has allowed self to die and allow Jesus to increase. In a world where I, me and myself is the other of the day even in the church it will be difficult to talk of Christ increasing in us while we decrease. One important thing that we must do if we want Jesus to increase in us is to wear the garment of love, that statement from Uncle John the Baptist is not just a statement of fact but a sta...

ALLOW GOD TO LEAD

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *ALLOW GOD TO LEAD* *You are preserved* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. There is no gain saying that the only way Christ can be allowed to increase in us while we decrease in ourselves is to delete pride in our lives, pride the bible says goes before the fall. Christ can only increase when self decreases. When pride dies, when material things are not priority in your life but always give God first position in all things in your life  Christ can only increase and we decrease when we don't worship any other thing but God and God alone, when we don't give room to other things apart from God and God alone. The more room we give Him in our time, thoughts, ton...

YOU WILL GO UP

WHATEVER JESUS TAKES OVER IS OVER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *WHATEVER JESUS TAKES OVER IS OVER* *HAPPY SUNDAY BELOVED* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. There is one thing we must understand in this statement of Uncle John the Baptist that Jesus must increase while he decrease, the truth of the matter is that you are more of what fills you than what is little in you, let me explain myself better , for instance when you bring a bottle of coke and a bottle of Fanta and then take a small quantity of the coke and put it in a glass and then fill the rest of the glass with Fanta. First and foremost you will discover that the drink will look more like the Fanta that is more in quantity than the coke that has little quantity in...

MORE OF JESUS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *MORE OF JESUS* *You are blessed* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. Having heard from uncles James and Paul let us now proceed to see more on how we can decrease for Jesus to increase but before we proceed permit to tell you that if you allow yourself to decrease and Jesus increase it will make you more of Jesus and less of yourself. Another way to allow Jesus to increase and ourselves decrease is by prayer, in praying we establish a relatioahip with Jesus where we see Jesus as our all in all and if He is our all in all we will have no need of putting ourselves anywhere knowing full well that Jesus is more than enough. In the place of prayer we sur...

ADD WORSHIP SONGS

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *ADD WORSHIP SONGS* *It is a season of favour for you* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. While we were consulting Uncle James on how to allow Jesus to increase in us so that we can decrease in ourselves we met Uncle Paul who told us that we should allow the word of God that we are feeding on to dwell or simply put to remain or live in us richly. *Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord*. *Col.3.16*. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *KNOWLEDGE IS POWER* *THE BLESSING IS IN DOING* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. We have been trying to see how we can be like Uncle John by allowing Jesus to increase in us while we decrease and we have seen quite a number of ways we can actually allow Jesus to increase in us and from what we have seen it has has become necessary that we say this now and that is after feeding on the word and meditating on the word that we should act on the word. Uncle James once told us and still tells us that when we hear the word of God and do nothing about it that we deceive ourselves that the best way according to him to show that we have fed on the word is to act it out....

FEED, MEDITATE AND PRACTICE

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *FEED, MEDITATE AND PRACTICE* *Go forth and break forth* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. There is no way a man will wake up and wish that another man will be bigger than himself, especially when it well known that at one point that the person in question depended on you for something or that you are apart of who made that man what he is but that is the case of Uncle John the Baptist who baptised Jesus and later declared that Jesus should increase while himself will decrease. Apart from understanding purpose and the rare kind of humility that Uncle John has here are some of the things we need to do to be like Uncle John that is allowing Jesus to increase in us...

ARE YOU COMPLIMENTING OR COMPETING

*FAITH NUGGETS*  (DAILY DEVOTIONAL) *ARE YOU COMPLIMENTING OR COMPETING?* *Higher you will continue to go* *He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.  *Jn 3:30-31*. We must take a critical look at what Uncle John the Baptist said about Jesus increasing and himself decreasing because it is not normal for a man to wake up and make that kind of statement especially when it was Uncle John that baptised Him. Let me put it in a way the you will understand. He started ministry from Uncle John. For Uncle John the Baptist to make that kind of open statement in an open space and to his disciples whom he lost because of that statement there must be something behind it and that we must find out because we want to "follow who know r...
