KNOWLEDGE IS POWER

*KNOWLEDGE IS POWER*

*THE BLESSING IS IN DOING*

*He must increase, but I must decrease. [He must grow more prominent; I must grow less so. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all*.

*Jn 3:30-31*.

We have been trying to see how we can be like Uncle John by allowing Jesus to increase in us while we decrease and we have seen quite a number of ways we can actually allow Jesus to increase in us and from what we have seen it has has become necessary that we say this now and that is after feeding on the word and meditating on the word that we should act on the word.

Uncle James once told us and still tells us that when we hear the word of God and do nothing about it that we deceive ourselves that the best way according to him to show that we have fed on the word is to act it out. The real feeding on the word is in the actions that we put up.

*But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does*. *Jas.1.23-25*..

To Uncle James it is not just about feeding on the word, meditating on it and practicing what you have fed on but according to him you must continue with it which means that it is not a once in a while thing rather it is a thing that requires been constant in. We must do it day in day out.

Adding his voice to that of Uncle James, Uncle Paul told us through one of the letters that he wrote to the Colossians that apart from eating, meditating and practicing what we have fed on that we should allow what we fed on to dwell in us and not just in us but in us richly that is it must be much.

*Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord*. *Col.3.16*.
