*THE GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT PT2*

*The blessings of God upon your life will be so glaring that people will see it and know that you are blessed*

*But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened*.
*Luke.24.21*.

Cleopas and his friend were so disappointed in Jesus that they had to run away even in the night and more was their disappointment when some of their women came to tell them that they saw a vision of Angel that told them that he had risen. Wait a minute, how on earth can somebody that could not come down from the cross rose from the dead? Is it possible?
*When they did not find His body, they came saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said He was alive*. *Luke.24.23* 

Cleopas and his friend were with the others until this news came that he had risen, some of them went to the tomb to find out whether it was true or not but instead of Cleopas and his friend to do find out the truth they choose to run away from the truth.

They were so disappointed that they could not differentiate between a vision and what was seen, the women did not tell them that they saw a vision, they only told them that they saw an angel that said that Jesus has risen but Cleopas and his friend took it for a vision and no longer what was seen.

They were so disappointed that they could no longer recognize Jesus when Jesus came and walks with them, they were so blinded by their disappointment that the master they followed for about three years became a stranger to them, they were so disappointed that even when grace was around them they could not notice it.

They were so disappointed that they had to embark on a journey that was supposed to be a journey of "no return" had Jesus not met them on the road and broke bread for them to recognise Him. Many times we also have our hopes and the moment the hope seem to fail us we tend to embark on a journey of "no return" for Cleopas and his friend they returned but have you returned?

*LET US PRAY*🙏 🙏 🙏 
I pray for you and with you that disgrace will not take the place of grace in your life by the power in the name of Jesus
