*DO YOU KNOW JESUS? PT12*

*Today is Thursday meant for you to shine so go forth and shine forth because you are blessed in Jesus name*

*He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God*.
*Jn 1:10-13*.

We can actually do a lot for God when we know and understand the kind of God that we worship. Do you know why native and witch doctors boast? They boast because they so much believe in that thing they call their god but believers that has a superior God, all powerful and Almighty faint at the boasting of mere native and witch doctors, can you imagine that?

The apostles rejoiced when they were flogged and beaten for the sake of Jesus and they even went ahead to count it a privilege to be found worthy to suffer for the name. These were men that ran away when Jesus was arrested but when the had a better understanding of the person of Jesus they made up their mind to go to any length for the sake of the name.
*So they went out from the presence of the council (Sanhedrin), rejoicing that they were being counted worthy [dignified by the indignity] to suffer shame and be exposed to disgrace for [the sake of] His name*. *Acts.5.41* 

Another man that we have to take a look is called Daniel, he was asked not to pray again and he knew the power of having intercourse with God, he may have probably reasoned that this people cannot stop him from his first love(God) so he has to defile the king to please God.

What of Elijah that was challenged by four hundred prophets of Baal? I mean four good hundred of men not children or learners that wants to proof the worth of their god to Elijah, only the number was enough to scare him but he choose to stand his ground against all odds and God proved to them than that Elijah kowns Him very well.

*LET US PRAY* 🙏🙏🙏
I pray for you and with you that you will arise from every ugly situation and begin to shine in every area of your life by the power in the name of Jesus.
