*REPENT AND BE BAPTISED*

*Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit*.
*Acts 2:38*.

Having asked them "men and brethren, what shall we do"? Peter went ahead to tell them what to do. There is a saying among mathematicians that i love so very much and the statement is "to every problem there is a solution" so bro Peter did not just recognise or make them to see their problem but he also led them to see the solution as well.

And he started by telling them to "repent" the big question here now is what does it mean to repent because many of us are so used to this word that we see it as a slogan for the church or a statement meant for pagans.

Now let us take a ride at the many definitions of repentance for us to know what it means exactly to repent. To repent means to feel sincere remorse not pretentious remorse for one's past errors, sins and wrong doing in moral standing 

To repent also means to have a change of heart about ones wrong doings, to change one's mind and heart about those actions that are wrong and can cause you your relationship with God and man and to commit to a changed direction in life.

In a nutshell, to repent is to identify certain things that are wrong in your life and you making a decision never to return to them again.

I pray for you and with you that in any trouble that you have found yourself that the good Lord will deliver you from all of them by the power in the name of Jesus.

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen!
