*FAITH NUGGET*

*GOD IS IN YOU PT5*

*And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being*. 
*Gen 2:7*.

Having heard from st Paul that the life that we have was entrusted to us and that we should guide it jealously today we will be hearing from king David why st Paul thinks so or why he made that bold statement.


*When you turn away, they are afraid; when you take away your breath, they die and go back to the dust from which they came*. *Ps 104:29*.(*GNB*)
Here king David is saying that when God turns away from us we become afraid. Why? Because the reason why God has to turn away from us is about what God cannot identify with(sin)

Sin is not supposed to be part of us because the spirit that was given to us is the spirit of a holy God.
*For I am the Lord your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I am holy. Neither shall you defile yourselves with any creeping thing that creeps on the earth*. *Lev 11:44*.
We need to be holy because the spirit that we have is a holy Spirit. It is the spirit of God.

King David is saying that if we refuse to consecrate ourselves unto the Lord and went ahead to grieve Him much and he(God) then chooses to take away the breathe(life) that He(God) gave us that the next thing is that we must return to the dust which we originally are.

Here king David tells us the bitter truth by calling it God's own not our own so st Paul was right when he said that we were entrusted with it so it is not ours but a gift that must be treasured and kept with consecration and purity.

Because the God that gave us the spirit is pure we know that the spirit that He(God) gave us is pure as well because only pure things can come out of a pure God and if the spirit that was given to us is pure we too are expected to keep it pure and make sure that it remains pure.

I pray for you and with you that you will not lack the oil that will distinguish you among equals and that this oil will make you to be outstanding in all that you do by the power in the name of Jesus.
