*WHY ARE YOU KEEPING HIM IN THE GRAVE?*

*On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, saying, "Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, 'After three days I will rise.' Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night and steal Him away, and say to the people, 'He has risen from the dead.' So the last deception will be worse than the first." Pilate said to them, "You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how." So they went and made the tomb secure, sealing the stone and setting the guard*. *Math 26:42-46*.

The Pharisees plotted his death.

The crowd that sang hossanna to the son of David eventually started singing crucify him.

Pilate gave him up to be crucified.

Judas betrayed him.

Peter. Denied him

Thomas ran away even naked.

The people took authority to secure the grave.

They sealed the grave so that he will not rise from the dead.

And the soldiers fully armed took turns to ensure that he remain in the grave.

And you and i choose to keep him in the grave hoping and praying that he never rise again by remaining in our sins.

Why we are busy blaming others we never bothered to take a look at our roles in his death.

We can only wish and pray that he rise from the grave when we choose to say no to sin and yes to righteousness.

This is the best time to heed this call of Jesus,
*She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said to her, "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more*.". *Jn 8:11*.
*Afterward Jesus found him in the temple, and said to him, "See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you*." *Jn 5:15*.

No matter how our past has been we can begin anew.

I pray for you and with you that we may continue to adore and praise God with our lives because by His cross He has redeemed the world in Jesus name Amen.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.

HE HAS RISEN

LET US PRAY* *HE HAS RISEN* *Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee*, *Lk 24:5-6*. Jesus conquered sin. He conquered the grave. He destroyed death He rendered the grave powerless and made it impotent for eternity. All that he did for you and me. We are the alleluia people  Our Christ is risen indeed never to die again. He was victorious for you and i.
