*BEGIN WITH GOD PT22*

*Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth*. 
*Gen 1:16-17*.

We saw yesterday that each of what God created was called great and we reasoned that if things like sun and moon can be called great it goes a long way to tell us that we too are great beings too and more still greater than them.

We also could conclude by way of how they functioned that they maintained their space. How do i mean sir. No one interfered with what the other was doing. No one tried to stop the other as many of us so in our own case.

Another thing that is worth talking about is how they maintained their time. The sun didn't shine in the night neither did the moon shine in the day. The sun will always rise at the appropriate time same with the moon.

Did you notice that because of how they funtioned each of them mattered when it mattered most. The were very important and useful in their nature.

How do you maintain your space? do you leave what you are supposed to do and begin to be jealous others. What do you do with your time? Do you waste it or make full use of it? Do what you do add value to creation because that will determine whether you will matter when it matters or not.

I pray for you that you will not be useless to yourself and to your family and generation and that you will matter when it matters most in Jesus name Amen.

*OUR BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.
 
2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.

3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

*PRAYER POINTS FOR TODAY* (*OUR PROGRAMME TO START THE YEAR*)

1. Oh Lord my father, may the wickedness of the wicked never find expression in my life and family in Jesus name.

2.O Lord deliver my family, business, life and my soul my soul from the snare of the wicked in Jesus name.

3. Oh Lord, deliver my soul from every evil beast that seek to devour me, my finance, marriage and family in Jesus name.

4. Oh Lord, delivers me from the spirit of Lust, lies and barrenness in Jesus name.

5. Oh Lord, by your holy spirit in me continue to guide and lead me and may i not miss it in life in Jesus name.
