*FAITH NUGGET*

*BEGIN WITH GOD*

*In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters*. 
*Gen 1:1-2*.

*BEGINNING OF THE YEAR PROGRAME*.

By way of encouraging ourselves to start the year with God we started a prayer and fasting programme to enable us to wait on God and we outlined the following as a guide.

1. Start with prayer and fasting. It may be for 7, 21 or 40 days with fasting lasting as much as 6:00am to 12:00, 03:00, or 06:00pm.
 
2. Choose the one that will be convinient for you. The most important thing here is consistency and total commitment to do it well and to the glory of God.


3. Make sure that you are not doing it to please any man or under duress or compulsion or as a ritual.

4. Read the bible as much as you can not as a literature but with some level of reflection.

5. Try to go through this reflection daily as it will help in your spiritual growth. And God helping me I will be dropping some prayer point as well.

6. Pray the prayer points and don't just read them please.

It is my earnest desire that we continue to grow in the Lord until we all grow to full maturity in Christ.

Yesterday we talked about beginning with God because any beginning without the beginner is a begining in error and so we encouraged ourselves to always begin with God and today we will be looking at another aspect of God as the beginner of all beginnings.

The bible told us that in the beginning that God created (worked) the heaven and the earth. The beginning did not just begin until God choose to work.

Have you mapped out your plans to work? Have you forgotten so soon that until you work that nothing will work? Go out there and do something for yourself, don't just wait and expect thing to work out on their own because if they do without you guiding the flow it may be against you.

God did not just work but He made sure that things were in order. How do i mean? The bible said that he started by creating time(in the beginning) then went ahead to creat space(created) and then matter (occupant of space and time) can you see the order now? Time, space and matter.

The bible went ahead to say that the earth was without form and void. Do you know why? Because God wants you to give the earth form, He wants you to fill the void. God has done his part the rest is left for you and i.

What you do is what will give the earth form. If you the right things the earth will have the right form but if you do the wrong things the earth will be deformed but God forbid that you and i will be the reason why the earth will be deformed in Jesus name Amen.

*PRAYER POINTS*

1. Lord as i begin this year make opportunities to prosper to come my way in the name of Jesus.

2. Lord may waster not come near my produce this year in the name of Jesus.

3. Any power that wants to fight my progress this year expire in the name of Jesus.

4. Lord bless me to be a blessing to my people in the name of Jesus.

5. Lord any person or powers or kingdoms that are planning tears for me or members of my family in this year father disappoint them in the name of Jesus.

I pray for you and with you that mourners will not gather for your sake this year and will not gather in your family this year in the name of Jesus.

*COUNSEL*. Don't ever give up on your faith and never loose hope and be fervent in prayers and praise knowing that God, your father loves you specially and will never leave you nor forsake you.
